I read he first several chapters of Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry by Albert Pike just to educate myself.

I must admit that almost all of what I read was about uplifting society through education, good morals and hard work

There was mention of God and I found none of it repulsive

I got bored and put it down, but I was surprised at how much of it was based on solid morals
