We have different opinions. I believe that Jesus said this because they didn’t know he is God incarnate. Ie they didn’t know they were killing God so He asked the Father to forgive them for their ignorance.
Anyone could see he was being killed physically- that’s the point of being crucified. Are you saying they didn’t know he was going to die by their (Jewish Sanhedrin and Roman soldiers)?

There is a difference between the Jewish leaders (priests etc) and the people. Back then the people were the true 12 tribes / pure bloods.

Protestant churches are not faultless either. The difference is just like Govt. consolidated power leads to extreme corruption, even to the point of a false teaching of a “vicar of christ” (papacy) and the need for an intercessor, priest. Versus distributing different orgs with varying beliefs regarding small variations (like sprinkling vs immersion). Harder to infiltrate but most are after hundreds of years ( mostly by Jesuits).

The “rapture” teaching distorts these biblical teaching and tries to deceive people that they will get a second chance. Not gonna happen.

I’m in the camp that says the precipice is very close (WWIII + Global economic collapse + election cancelled + internet blackout).
The WHs will step in before the election. I also believe the WHs will declare martial law for a few weeks/ a couple of months to make all the arrests and mass deportation
I don’t know if the Dems will be able to change batter to Big Mike in time, so not sure who would/could go up against Trump and RFK Jr.
The military will run and guard the election with paper (watermarked) and open (televised) counting w/o machines by only registered citizens.
