It's a combination of IQ and EQ test as people that just have high IQ but low EQ are definitely failing the test as they don't see through the propagate. People with low IQ are failing as well regardless of their EQ.

If you work for a big company then it sounds like the executives may be in on the hoax, saying stuff like this goes beyond just being stupid. I would think a small company wouldn't really be in on it though so not sure what conclusion to draw if you work for a small company. No one can be that stupid though and be in a position of power
