For those who missed it last night: I watched the live stream off and on from a post here and the Vatican lights were definitely off. There were some nearby street lights that still had power, but the whole complex was pretty much blacked out.
It's so hard to tell if it's a camera issue or the lights are off. With the TV's playing you can see them fine... and you can see the star on top of the Christmas tree, even reflections of light on the ground.
I mean 100% all the lights are off, it's not like it's blacked out there, they have power, but it doesn't look lit up like it normally does.
