I highly recommend homeschool, independent study, virtual learning, etc... Our kids learned to think critically and have discernment. They were also turned off by the Common Core Math. They also did not like the US History classes which criticized our founding fathers. 1776 Report which was dropped is excellent - I sent it to my entire family to read.
