I literally had someone say this to me when I pointed out Trump won right after the election, I referred her to the constitution, but I guess even that point is moot till the OP comes into the light over here
I think some people here are conflating supporting Myanmar’s military over the type of action they took. The action they took was correct is putting a halt to a sham election ala Nov 3rd USA.
I would assume that the Burmese military knows we have their back to some degree. This would embolden them!! I have no idea what we might do for them, but it could be something that would turn the tide.
This is the same military that took over power in 1989 to crush democracy and renamed the country and a bunch of cities, against the will of the people
