I've known a few Rangers and a Green Beret throughout the years and have to say that I fully trust them with a our lives. The special ops guys I have had the pleasure of befriending are the most solid people I have ever met.
If you met them, you'd see their overwhelming intelligence, kindness, gentleness, and generosity. Based on this, you would never guess that they are one of the most elite warriors in the world.
It is really hard to explain how strong they are mentally and how truly good-natured they are. You'll never understand until you have the pleasure of meeting one and I hope everyone gets that pleasure.
To all branches of our military: Thank you for your loyalty. The world is in your hands.
EDIT: Read the comments. Many have witnessed the same from Spec Ops. It really says a lot about our country that our elite forces are looked upon so highly by people who know them.

I sincerely hope our military is not laying down on their oath. It’s probably the most difficult part of the oath to defend against domestic enemies but hey, you DID take that oath. IMO it’s waaay past time. We are on razor thin ice my fren with very small hooves. Pray.

The purpose of the military is to protect America from threats. We are faced with an existential threat right now. If they don't protect us from that then what are they there for?

USAF Vet here. I was stationed at Pope AFB for 10 years. I was a C-130 Crew Chief (Flying Aircraft Mechanic). We supported the 82nd Airborne and the Special Forces at Fort Bragg. Great guys. I used to party and hang out with a bunch of the Special Forces guys on Bragg. Good times. I got out in 2000. Now I only have a handful of those guys (and girls) I keep in touch with now. Stand up guys. All of them (All of us). Yea.... Ranger school is no joke. If you know, you know.... If you don't. Shut the fuck up. I have faith... Nothing can stop what is coming! WWG1WGA!

I also know an ex-Ranger. He is now a pastor of a cowboy church. Great dude.
I know one too. He was my neighbor for a few years. He came to my grandpa's burial at Arlington. He also once stopped by and put flowers on my grandpa's grave and sent my family a pic. Such a kind thing to do

I've known two people that fit this profile for over a decade, and I would say they are two of the most solid people in my contacts. I would trust either of them to make smart decisions for our country, unlike 99.9% of politicians.

It's not the lower-echelon men and women who are the problem. It's the upper echelon traitors like Colin Powell, Mad Dog Mattis, etc. who are the problem.

One of my greatest regrets is not serving when I had the chance. Many friends and family have and I envy them.
