This is the first Sunday in Lent for most Christians (many have a different lenten period which starts in a few weeks) https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2021/02/21/the-first-sunday-of-lent/
See you tomorrow.
Please don't start putting sports shit into these threads. We're better than that
Guys, relax. I'm not going to put sports in every day, and maybe never again. I just thought this was a nice story about America's pastime in a still-innocent setting.
Thanks for doing this everyday without fail. I come here just to read these daily WIN posts.
Thank you for doing these, as a night owl and night crew I look forward to seeing these when I first get on ga.win
I thought this was a nice add. Unlike leftists, we do know how to have fun even in the dark times, and great human accomplishments in everything, including sports, is worthy of recognition.
Sorry, I wasn't meaning to be a dick about it. You do everyone a great service by summing up the daily wins for those who can't keep up with the happenings. I am on this forum throughout the day (between work) and I still always look forward to reading your daily posts.
I've made it a habit to read the daily wins before going to bed lol. It always helps me sleep better. So thanks you again for everything!
Sincerely, Most people here
Yeah nice diversion. Kodnset a tough standard to maintain.
This; the weekly comics thing is kinda goofy but already feels off; like artificial winning.
This needs to stick to Q wins. If there aren't many for the day, at least we should be honest with ourselves and each other about it.
Or you could call it "Today's Highlights." Nothing wrong with a daily summary.
As far as baseball, ... a sweet debut, but both sides of that baseball game probably had Q supporters.
Or you can make your own thread without sport, comics and whit whatever name you like. I’m all for constructive criticism, but “remove it, because I don’t like it”, is loser leftist talk.
I love it as it is.
Keep up the really good work WinsAnon
Chill, fren. I never said remove. Just had an idea... it's all good.
LMAO I got banned for being off-topic for posting about a plane. I think sports are so far off-topic.
Yeah, I've been missing the plane threads. Have the skies been as friendly as the MSM presumes?
Your efforts are always appreciated by me..... I realize what you do is voluntary and takes your personal time. Some news days are more exciting than others.... nuff said... carry on
Thank you.
What's up with Breitbart? "A source familiar with Pence’s thinking ...."
That's sleazy reporting ...
they are redpill examples of enemy hypocrisy; its 2 and 7 why i am baffled why these are on the list...
Thanks for the post Wins - always appreciated that you do this for us every day.
Thank you as always u/WinsAnon! Also, Orders for Digital Soldiers, Part 4: Advance the Law has now been posted.
Thank you, WinsAnon, for another installment of "Wins of the Day"! Much appreciated!!
Number 4 seems like an effective way to stop false flags.
The calm b4 the storm...
"Keep doing what you're doing" he says with a fresh cup of steaming coffee to start the day right with WA. paul
Someone explain lent to me please
Lent is a 40-day season of reflection and preparation that mirrors Jesus' 40 days withdrawal into the desert. Jesus returns triumphantly on Easter.
It has extra meaning for Christians who will sacrifice something to demonstrate their own preparation and devotion, but it also has interesting parallels to Trump's current withdrawal and preparation for his return.
Thank you.
I found the Pence one really interesting.
If it was possible to get "normies" to review these headlines for a month, I think there would be very few left who would still fall prey to MSM lies. Unfortunately, the people who most need to learn the truth, are the least likely to be exposed to anything other than MSM.
The wins are diminishing.
Weekends usually don’t have much action, keep up the Faith pede
Sports? Please refocus your efforts.
No wins until true POTUS is seen running our government.
Consider linking these cartoons from townhall.com. We don't need to be clicking on bait and switch Fox News.
Lent isn't for another two weeks, it starts March 8th ? Feb 22-24th is the Jonah's fast though.
Perhaps you know of something I do not. For Christians, lent began last Wednesday, Ash Wednesday. It lasts 40 days in recognition of Jesus' 40 days in the desert as he fasted and was tempted by Satan.
The commenter may be referring to the Orthodox calendar. I believe Easter for them is later than Easter for Catholics and Protestants.
Lents always began a week after the Jonah's fast, I think ash Wednesday is some Catholic holiday or something we don't have that. I am Orthodox part of the true Church, part of the faith taught from the apostles.
I did not know there are different lenten periods among various Christian denominations. For the roughly 2 billion protestants and Catholics in the world, lent began last Wednesday. For the Coptic Church (and perhaps some others), with 10 million members worldwide, lent is indeed shorter than the 40 days leading up to Easter. Thanks for teaching me something, Sophia.
Its just not Copts, its Oriental and Eastern Orthodox we are on the same lental period. Oriental Orthodox is Coptic, Armenian, Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Syriac (Both Jacobite and Indian Orthodox Church) then you have the Eastern Orthodox which I can't remember all of them but I know of Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Greek, Antiocian, and the Orthodox Church of America (which I think is under Russian jurisdiction) But anyways, March 8th is Lent for us and Easter is May 2 then we have the 50 days after that there is no fasting (except normal Wed/Fri) because we are in celebration of the Resurrection of Christ.
Here in Greece - a Christian country - Lent begins in three weeks time. (Greek Orthodox calendar.)
