Drove from Dallas, Tx to Destin, Fl. Stayed in a hotel in Mississippi. Went to a Walmart in Alabama. Staying in a Hilton Resort in Florida. All have signs “requiring masks”. Never put on a mask. Nobody cared. Everybody is ignoring the signs.
Most people except employees were not wearing masks. Employees were often wearing them halfway. Hundreds of people at the Hilton and less than 5% wearing a mask and only inside. Honestly, starting to feel like the mask wearers are the freaks now... as it should be. Only a matter of time. And nobody said shit about a freaking Vax either. Happy Memorial Day!
Agreed. I’m in a rural town due north of Dallas. I’ve been buying groceries at WM (don’t hate; there is no other local grocery) this whole time...maskless.
Just 2 weeks ago, the ratio was 85% masked. Today? 85% unmasked, including employees. The worm is turning.
Have you considered growing your own food? Particularly in a rural area, I assume you have a lot of land. It's easier than most people think, very worthwhile and extremely rewarding.
Are you.. pearl clutching?? On average, It is a safe assumption that a rural resident has more land to work with than someone who lives in a city... This should be common sense.
It's never bad advice to say try growing your own food. There is a grass / lawn conspiracy at play, to be blunt. Gardens used to be much more commonplace.
The only one pearl clutching here is you. I asked a simple question, if they've TRIED to grow food. It's a perfectly reasonable question. A hundred years ago mostly everyone grew food. Nowadays not so much.
You could try asking questions like "how would it be possible to grow food with X amount of space?" instead of killing the messenger for some reason.
Me: "Have you tried growing food?" -- So again, only one concern trolling is you. And projecting.
@p8riot- I’m starting. Yes it’s very rewarding and my 20yr old is and my daughter n law, son are now. All at the same time. I’m really excited
Congrats! Very happy to hear that. It's the best way to fight back against the machine, to be self sustainable. Best of luck on your journey.
?☝️??
Wow, some major retards reacting to this post lol. You’re just giving some very useful advice.
Self-loathers in all likelihood. They don't want to improve, and therefore don't want anyone else to, either.
Have you considered keeping your mouth shut?
No. I will never be quiet about growing your own food. It's never too late to start.
People know they can grow their own fucking food. If they can, they would be doing it.
"I assume..."
Must be nice up there.
I disagree. Most people nowadays favor convenience over hard work even if the end result is worse. That's why I led with "it's easier than most people think." Self-loathers tend to lash out at people for trying to inspire people to be better.
I'm appalled at your approach and assumptions. The holier than thou attitude is garbage.
By the way, I grow my own food. I would NEVER talk to someone the way you did.
Likewise.
In northern Illinois Chicago-land area 90% wear masks. And they do it for liberal solidarity. I wear no mask and accuse them of being anti vaxxers because masks are for anti vaxxed. Lol. They sometimes cry as they see the high water mark of their control recede.
Their eyes twitch and water because even they know. Nothing can stop what’s coming.
I am in Chicago and I do not wear. Most stores in burbs (Niles, MG) say CDC says you don't need if you are vaccinated. I am still the only one in the store without a mask. I have had people pull theirs down after they see me so I am doing my part. Chicago technically they are still required because of looney Lightfoot.
I loved to take the train in and spend the day in Chicago pre-covid. Are they fairly back to same over there, or would I still be treated like a criminal just for showing up?
Outside things are really normal. Most restaurants are now crowded and no seating limitations and people are mostly maskless, at least once they sit down. Edison Park is the only ward that voted for Trump. Go to Zia's in Edison Park if you want a night out. The food is great and the people are normal. https://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/11/09/chicago-neighborhood-flexes-its-muscle-for-trump/
Thanks. Looks not to far from the airport, but far enough the hotel prices might be lower. I've always liked visiting Chicago. Though they seem to have perfected machine politics for 150 years at least, the people have that Midwestern laid back politeness that makes it a nicer big city to hang out in.
Right now in Chicago I'm the only one of a few in a store without a mask. Funny thing is that most the people that are wearing masks got the vax. Fk'n morons.
Masks are pretty much gone around here. Always a few, but they are definitely the minority
Great news... I too make this drive quote often for vacationing. Destin, FL is a beautiful place.
Glad to hear the news. I won't comply regardless, but this is a nice shot of hopium.
Destin Fl. has the most beautiful beaches lovely!
We decided we won’t be flying to Hawaii anymore... beaches are nicer here!
Another weird mask post, i'm so glad i live in Sydney Australia, only asians ever wore masks here xD
Your time will come, again. With the influx of those Hollyweird illegals you seem to attract.
I remember when I used to seee Asians in masks here in USA and felt sorry for them. Now we look just like that. Weird world.
I’m in Alabama, if you went from Texas to Destin, you had to pass right by my exit ? hi fren ?. Yeah a lot of people stopped wearing masks in South Bama awhile ago, and more since memaw Ivey lifted the mandate. Though like you said employees in most stores still are wearing them, but they don’t want to. In Briquettes restaurant, the staff stopped wearing masks as soon as the mandate was lifted, waitress told me that the owner didn’t like them so gave the staff the option to wear or don’t wear them. There are still a few sheep still shopping with masks on ? but whatever. Though it does piss me off when I see kids made to wear them still, because the parents are idiots.
Yeah I got really annoyed today every time I saw kids wearing masks while the adults with them were bare-faced. I don't know if these were vaxxers who are still ass-backwards in their thinking or if the kids are brainwashed and too scared to take them off now even though nearly every adult they saw on the street wasn't wearing one and neither were most kids.
Many of the kids are so used to wearing them all day at school. My son says he feels weird going places without a mask as he is so used to wearing one.
Add to the fact he gets yelled at by the teachers if his mask slips or he pulls it down to catch a breath. Their plan at teaching our children to be sheep is insideous.
Indiana still has a lot of people wearing them, more than I’m happy with. And all big chain stores have signs posted saying “if you’re fully vaccinated you’re not required to wear a mask”. Such hypocrisy. We are reliably conservative yet everyone acts like obedient sheep
I had a little child explain to me that they are “to protect others in case we are sick and don’t know it.” I didn’t want to offend her sweet mother who is a friend, so I just replied, “Yes, that is what They keep on telling us...”. She gave me an odd look and was quiet. Smart little kiddo—she may actually figure it out.
Conservatives are rule followers... at least until you get red pulled and realize the rule makers are criminals.
Right! That or we follow the rules until we see that the rule makers are complete hypocrites, which is exactly what I did at the start of Covid pandemic lol
It took about two weeks after Dewine's pet Holcome ditched the mandate for peoples faces to start coming out, but they are starting to.
They’re not coming out quick enough for my liking, but at least people are starting to get fed up with them.
Holcomb is definitely a RINO and also a pet of the CCP. A coworker told me he’s suing our legislation because they’re trying to pass a bill that bans vaccine passports in Indiana, and he believes people need to be controlled so he wants those things. It’s disgusting to me. I’m ok with recalling him if other Hoosiers are. These wealthy politicians don’t get to tell me how I live my life since they can’t follow a budget.
Holcombe isn't gonna get very far in Indiana with stuff like vaccine passports.
I hope he doesn’t. I’m more than ready to oust him at this point. Texas and Florida are leading the charge in moving past the Covid crap and following the Constitution. Other western states are putting in some good legislation too. My opinion is that Indiana should already be a Second Amendment sanctuary state. Far as I know our legislation hasn’t done anything about that, but I’m quite pleased they’re trying to ban the vaccine passports. Holcomb appears to be overstepping his authority..
Much fewer people here in MA this weekend. This is noticeable because two days ago I went to a nursery and was the only one in a fairly crowded place without one except for a couple who took them off when leaving.
Finally seeing younger people without them. Usually it's people who are seniors ignoring the mandates where I live.
Masks are for anti vaxxers. Lol. I wear no mask thus I have natural immunity.
That is what they told us at the beginning, right? “2 weeks to bend the curve”. Good luck.
You think that carrot on the stick will ever get closer? You gotta grab the stick fren. CDC already says you don't need to wear one.
4 weeks to go in PA, but in south central area most are ignoring the few signs that are still visible. Wolfe is holding out for 70% injection rate but lifting mandate on the 28th. I doubt we will hit 70%, but they'll falsify numbers to make us non injected look like a small minority.
No one at church had one but I still see some in stores in Alabama.
I'm north al and sams club and lowes still had some mask wearer's but tons of people not and no one complained about non maskers. Probably assume we are vaxxed ?
I didn't see anyone with a mask at church today either in East TN. Even the senior citizens are ditching them.
Shiiit, I still see "masks required" signs in my state but very few people obey it anymore
I went to New Mexico last weekend. From what I had heard, in that "blue" state, everyone wore masks everywhere. Well, I guess that's over!! I never wore one the entire time. In most places, hardly anyone wore a mask, the far majority were all mask-free. People everywhere are sick of it (and hopefully waking up). I think the mask days are finally over!!
Most stores I go into the employees arent wearing masks. Not sure if it is people waking up, seeing truth, or if most saw masks as a fad that they are just tired of now.
From recent conversations with some lefties at work I can tell from their tone that their heart just isn't in it anymore when they repeat the rhetoric drilled into them by the mockingbird media. I've also not come across a single one who even tries to defend Biden, at first some of them chuckled uncomfortably but don't say anything and now they just go "yeah" and try to change the subject when I test the waters saying something critical of what he has done lately. It's like some of them know that they 'effed up with their vote but are scared to admit it.
Went all day with no mask in my cuck blue state feels good srs.
Businesses, shopping, traveling for the most part is starting to look almost normal again, but schools are a huge issue. Colleges are using them to entice students to get the vax, and now that it is being made available for children schools will be trying it too. It is beyond sick that parents are actually giving this poison to their kids, and in some states 12 year Olds are able to get it without parental consent. Adults are scaring the shit out of these kids. They have massive anxiety and ptsd bc they are told if they don't wear the mask they can kill other people and being kids they believe it. Sorry I'm rambling but I am overly invested and if you don't have kids in the system most don't realize how horrible they are being treated. The nonsense needs to stop everywhere I am tired of the covid crazy idiots ruining it for our kids and the rest of us.
We all need to get involved with LOCAL politics and take control of the school boards... or homeschool.. so many have decided never to send their kids back. More the better.
I pulled mine but still continue to fight bc it needs to be fixed, we will not give up. We need a lot of people to take action everywhere.
That's horrible. Kids need to see faces especially so young. A lot can change in the next 2 months so I would register with the intention of pulling if masks are still required. Go to your school board meeting, speak up and let them know the masks need to go. Parents are organizing in every state fighting the school boards, I wouldn't be surprised if it is already happening by you, but if you can get involved.
I’m in NE Ohio, medium town. In the past week, I went to a couple restaurants. No one at all wore a mask in the one. The other one a lot of people were but me and my whole group didn’t and no one cared. At Dollar General, there was a sign that said to wear a mask if you’re not vaccinated. I didn’t wear one and not a single other person there did either (about 10 people). I can’t decide if I was the only unvaccinated “rule breaker” there or if everyone was like me and didn’t care. Also, I showed up at my physical therapy one day last week and suddenly no one had a mask. I’m not sure if there was a sign on the door and what it said. I’ll have to see this week. But this is all definitely a good sign, especially since no one has yet asked if I’m vaccinated.
Less masks here but a lot of ppl vaccinated so.....
I was in a large urban grocery store on Saturday. Half the people were masked. Last week it was everyone. We're making progress.
I just attended a huge memorial day bbq with about 1000 other people. Not a mask in sight. Most people in Arizona don't give a flying eff. I just stood back looking at everyone and thinking about the stupid speech Xiden gave about how if we were good little boys and girls, wore our face diapers and got our shots we could have an out door gathering with our families by July 4th. Hahahaha
Same here on my cross country road trip. Not to doom, but I know many of my friends and family who have gotten the vax. That is not good.
One thing I've really liked here in CA is that I attend a pretty large church and there's no one wearing a mask, and it's been that way for the most part since last July.
Just spent the weekend in the Dubuque/Galena area. Over in Dubuque (IA) saw maybe 2% in masks (and that is counting employees), over in Galena (IL) maybe 5% with some people putting on masks to go into stores but the majority was ignoring the signs (on stores that still had them) and staff weren't bothering to complain.
Goddamn pede, you do make me jealous. that being said I saw five or so other people without masks outside today.
Tennessee chiming in here. Masks are just about gone. Some lib areas like Chattanooga are still wearing them. But those wearing face diapers are definately in the minority! :-)
Went to a black history event today in a liberal town, less than 10% had masks on. So beautiful
Ditto here. And I'm in New York!!
I work at a hotel in Charlotte. Not a single guest wears a mask ever and no one ever harasses anyone about them.
Was in attendance at the Indy 500 yesterday. I am estimating less than 10% mask usage. This is despite giant mask signs, ‘mask ambassadors’ at the entrance to every section and a mask mandate still in effect (in Marion county / Indianapolis, but not the state of Indiana). I also went to the Indianapolis GP (IndyCar race at the infield of Indianapolis Motor Soeedway), which was just two weeks ago. I estimated 50% - 60% mask usage while people were walking around and 30% - 40% while in the stands. Tide is turning.
Fred Meyer in Alaska has taken their huge "Masks Required" signs down, and the stupid post-it dots are gone from their floors. Score one.
Isn’t it great? The horse park by me dropped the mask mandate and more people came to watch and horse show. I was so happy that the mask patrol wasn’t there. Everyone seemed so much happier without being forced to wear face diapers.
Went everywhere today no mask! Happy Memorial Day!
Remember, they died for our freedom! Happy Memorial Day!
About time. The only people now are 25 yr olds and younger. These kids are dumb as rocks and gullible sheep
Starting to look that way here on Long Island too!
