I know someone who lost 100 lbs. in 9 months eating nothing but meat, eggs, cheese, and ice cream. He drank only water, coffee, and occasionally whiskey. Add a few medium-paced walks throughout the week and losing weight is fairly easy.
I think the vitamin D in dairy is mostly due to the fortified (eg added) vitamin D. If you happen to consume raw milk products I'm not sure there's much vitamin D in those.
Yes I forgot to mention he ate low-carb veggies sometimes too. Same goes with low-carb fruits from what I understand. It's amazing how the body actually works!
The meat diet is more about the healing opportunities for your body. It's difficult to do m a 72 hour fast after being on vegetables. The body does some amazing things when you fast. In addition your need for certain foods is different depending on geographical difference.
When you starve your body of bad carbs (sugar, bread, pasta, potatoes, cereals, rice, etc.) your body switches from using Glucose as its primary fuel, to burning fat for its fuel. Ketosis. If you don't overdo it on eating fats, your body will burn its stored fat for fuel. I lost 65 pounds in 6 months eating this way, with not a whole lot of exercise. When in Ketosis, your thinking is more clear, and energy is through the roof. It's perfectly safe, and not to be confused with Ketoacidosis, which is a dangerous condition affecting diabetics.
In terms of energy/pound meat is hard to beat. Veggies can provide close enough energy/pound if you consume enough. And the byproduct of consuming lots of veggies is much needed fiber.
The less the meat is cooked the easier to digest . Similar with fruits and veggies which is why fresh, raw juicing is very popular if you feel you have already enough fiber in your diet. And you just want the fresh enzymes from fruits and veggies.
Dark Chocolate, red grapes, raspberries, blackberries, beats, red onions are all fantastic.
Carrots and Apples can solve most cravings of sugar and it is better to consume your daily sugar intake from carrots and apples than load up on carbs or sugary drinks. Honey is also a better source of sugar for your body as well. Raw Honey is really good for adults.
Wow. Obesogenic rat chow is essentially what the USDA has been recommending to us for decades. We shouldn't be surprised. How the hell has this worked for so long?
The stuff on that pyramid is fine it's just in the wrong order. I am thinking the meats/proteins on the bottom followed by fruits then carbs and make the top much smaller.
"It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99 percent of the American
people are deficient in these minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one or more of
the important minerals actually results in disease. Any upset of the balance, any
considerable lack of one or another element, however microscopic the body requirement
may be, and we sicken, suffer, shorten our lives."
This thread is ridiculous. You’re wrong, no I’m awesome, my diet is better, etc. you’ll never achieve greatness if life if you’re doing this or not doing that.
Just eat healthy. You can eat bread and pasta, it’s not going to kill you, too much of any one thing is bad. Eat lots of vegetables, eggs, have some fruit, rice, beans, meat (all of those things more than pasta/breads. Use common sense, bake some cookies every once in a while if you’re feeling it, just don’t eat a lot of them every day.
Fucking sandwiches aren’t going to kill you. Don’t be afraid of them.
Wow, I haven’t seen anyone bring this up at all. My wife was researching hard on this for a couple of years. We went paleo for a while ( mistake ) then vegetarian then more raw vegan but now we are aiming to be 100% fruitarian ( transitioning ) Charlie Freak is our go to for dietary and spiritual advice.
I did that for awhile in my early 20's! I felt good being an A and eating vegetarian. But after awhile, I quit because I started really craving meat. Started eating whatever again. Fast forward nearly a decade later and now I'm doing no grains, starches or sugar and I feel even better than before. I have no plans of ever changing my diet again. Because of the globalist push toward veganism, I naturally wanted to do the opposite and I'm glad I did.
Respectfully disagree again. Your info comes from a University owned and controlled by the deepstate. I was shocked to find out almost everything we are taught is a lie. Please have a look at Charlie Freak or Casey from Vegetable Police ( u tube ) who has publicly tried different diets and is now on a juice fast for 72 days. He looks healthy and strong ( one armed pull ups! ) Justin Carpenter and Marie Russell are also on the same page. I wish you good health and God bless.
True story:
I know someone who lost 100 lbs. in 9 months eating nothing but meat, eggs, cheese, and ice cream. He drank only water, coffee, and occasionally whiskey. Add a few medium-paced walks throughout the week and losing weight is fairly easy.
Dairy (vitamin D) is an aid to lose weight when the portions are reasonable.
Most people have Vitamin D deficiency and that impacts people in many ways.
D + K2 + magnesium
I believe vitamin D is made by the body when exposed to sunlight. The dairy industry lies to us ( as does the meat industry )
It does but it's made on the skin and can wash off with daily soapy showers...better to supplement
Northern folk have to contend with shorter days in winter (and cold temperatures to boot!)
I think the vitamin D in dairy is mostly due to the fortified (eg added) vitamin D. If you happen to consume raw milk products I'm not sure there's much vitamin D in those.
Dairy and wheat are emergency foods.
I'm on it! Oil, skittles, pringles and chocolate. Who would've thought this would be so easy. The world is a lie. Kek!
I've had great success with clean keto. Moderate protein, high fat, raw and cooked low-starch vegetables.
Yes I forgot to mention he ate low-carb veggies sometimes too. Same goes with low-carb fruits from what I understand. It's amazing how the body actually works!
All seeing eye at the top. Not sure why butter and oil are in there with sugar and candy. Meat should be at the bottom and grains where the meat is.
Or no grains at all!
Exactly, the healthiest people are pure carnivore.
The meat diet is more about the healing opportunities for your body. It's difficult to do m a 72 hour fast after being on vegetables. The body does some amazing things when you fast. In addition your need for certain foods is different depending on geographical difference.
That's excellent!
You don’t break it into sugar. Your body now uses fats for fuel instead of sugars.
That’s why you eat more fat than protein. Did you know that you can spike your blood sugar just by THINKING about sweet foods?
Become fat adapted. You’ll wake your body up and feel ten years younger.
I have never heard of fat adapted. What is this?

When your body uses fat as it’s primary energy source (ATP) instead of carbohydrates.
Yup. Figure out what your body wants and it will reward you.
I love our garden. Its amazing fresh veggies. Now i just have to get my hunting game back up.
Actually, I'm surprised meat isn't at the top of the pyramid with the candy and chips below it.
But carbs and grains at the bottom??? It seems to me it should be fruits and veggies.
Yes it is.

Wow, haven’t seen one of these in years. New meaning to “low fat.”
"Death by Food Pyramid" is a good book.

Wow. Obesogenic rat chow is essentially what the USDA has been recommending to us for decades. We shouldn't be surprised. How the hell has this worked for so long?
For me, low carb is the only way.
There are a lot of different diets posted, but I am curious as to what the learned O.P. subscribes to. Thanking you in anticipation.
The stuff on that pyramid is fine it's just in the wrong order. I am thinking the meats/proteins on the bottom followed by fruits then carbs and make the top much smaller.
The people that make these kind of charts don't actually follow them. The slop is for the pigs (us).
Instead they place a lot of importance on minerals and oils. The person in the link below is one of the authorities on oils. https://successwithyoursoul.com/fats-heal-fats-kill-summary/
They also understand the vital importance of minerals to our health as detailed in the Senate report from 1936 linked below.

So can somebody point me to the best diet

What I found works best is to eat your body type which often is reflective of your genetic lineage and background from a region of the world.
I did that for awhile in my early 20's! I felt good being an A and eating vegetarian. But after awhile, I quit because I started really craving meat. Started eating whatever again. Fructose has to be processed by your liver. You're setting yourself up for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
My info says fruit is all we need. The sugar in fruit is not processed by the body like cane sugar. ( Charlie Freak knows the real truth )
Fruit can only be processed by the liver.
https://www.health.harvard.edu/heart-health/abundance-of-fructose-not-good-for-the-liver-heart
That doesn't mean what you think it means.
Cane sugar can be processed elsewhere, but fructose from fruit must be handled by the liver.

The entire plant based movement is funded by Bill Gates and his buddies.
It's the NWO diet.
Humans are made to eat meat.
The fruits you eat are brought to you from around the world, it was NEVER possible to eat that way until recently.
And those fruits are genetically modified to be mutant versions of their original form.
Not true, a hundred years of studies prove it. Get dr Fung’s book The Obesity Code which proves it.
Don’t ignore or forsake meat. Carnivores are the healthiest people.
