Most here know that no person speaks for everyone, and people will post what they believe, and we can examine it ourselves. Upvotes don't equate to truth, downvotes don't equate to lies -- I often upvote people I disagree with, as long as they are making a sincere argument and not being disrespectful -- because free flowing ideas of thinking people should be encouraged.
Those who are intentionally trying to undermine the movement, and aren't just doing it out of their own ignorance (as is being done here), are swiftly removed by mods (in most cases), even dissenting opinions are quickly silenced (with which I disagree, but goes to show that as much that can be done about the so-called "shills" is being done).
It's also worth noting that anyone who uses "Boomer" in a derogatory manner probably doesn't have the sense nor the experience required for this board.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to the mods. If they suck, then the whole site ends up sucking as well. The mods determine if GAW turns into a shithole of shill garbage, or is a source of quality (verifiable) news and info.
The rest of us are just stuck dealing with whatever the mods decide to do... or not do. It is not an easy job, but it is all up to them.
I understand what you're saying because there hasn't been a ton of Q research on here lately,but I think everyone is just waiting for something to happen, watching the news for developments. I think we're near the precipice and just biding our time waiting for the drop.
I get annoyed by duplicate posts; a while back it was not possible to make them, now there can be several within a short space of time.
As for other posts: there is something for everyone. Some are better than others, some are duds, some are downer shill posts or pushing some fake stuff. Many are very informative or funny. Mostly they keep us going, which is good for those standing alone with hostile families. I still miss VOAT but this is a good place of refuge and the mods do a good job on the whole.
unfortunately this can be said about any post that someone has made. it really depends on your perspective because a boomer post could actually be really nice for someone and vise versa. please give examples of that type of posts you mean
