While you can always refuse to confirm this is your account, it would be easier to simply delete it for now. If you're worried about being doxxed then you at least need to verify your identity and case with the mods, and the mods need to make a board-wide statement that you are authenticated. Speaking from some related experience, don't let any of it get you down or affect you more than it should emotionally. Keep moving forward and don't let this hold you back because its not "finished". Move on but keep the legal battle going and make them pay! Don't feel the least bit guilty not matter what angle is used by you, a family member, friend or ex-coworker that makes you "feel" bad.
Don't give up because you've moved on, that's what they want, but you still need to move on as well.
It's times like these you realize that sometimes lawyers seem slimy because you don't agree with themp, but lawyers are an integral part of the adversarial system that makes America the most just country in the world. Never forget this lesson.
