Excited to receive my 2nd dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech #COVID19 vaccine. There's nothing I want more than for my loved ones and people around the world to have the same opportunity. Although the journey is far from over, we are working tirelessly to beat the virus.
The date on this tweet says august 5th, like today this happened. It happened back in March of this year. He was (supposedly) fully vaccinated later in March. It’s really weak that so many people take headlines at face value. In this case some twitter user embarrasses themself by trying to say “hey GOTCHA Pfizer - CEO won’t even take his own vax, (and it’s already August!)”
But that’s not what this is claiming at all. The Pfizer CEO was banned from a trip because he isn’t vaxxed. 100% true and verifiable. Nowhere does this tweet claim this was recent. That’s something people are adding themselves. Not misleading.
Incredibly misleading entirely because of the date this was posted with no disclaimer. Nothing to do with the content, which is 100% true. It is only a big deal if as of now in august he hadn’t been vaccinated yet. That would be a huge fucking deal if the ceo of the major manufacturer of corona vaccines didn’t take it yet. Claiming he was waiting his turn way back in March works since they werent as widely distributed back then, but definitely wouldn’t work if it were august.
He said he didn’t want to feel like he cut the line. Shortly after this incident he got his second shot of the vaccine. He already had his first shot at this time. It was sensationalized nonsense at the time in my opinion to foreshadow the possibility of vaccine passports being a necessary aspect of travel.
The screenshot indicates a date of august 5th which gives the viewer the impression that this is happening now, when in reality it happened in March, and most likely now I would imagine the ceo of Pfitzer is touting his full vaccination status, albeit he could be lying and have gotten a placebo.
Because people are overwhelmingly saying "FUCK THE VAXX" and don't even think they need to "fact check" hypocritical behavior from people in power positions.
