It is obvious in the first 15 seconds that whatever these people wanted from this guy, they weren't going to get it. And yet they clearly wanted the last word. Why did they waste their time trying to argue with this guy?

Canada doesn't use voting machines. paper ballots only. and a lot of Canadians are grossly misinformed.
We don't have much in the way of alternative news here - few small outlets like Rebel News but most people never hear of them. Also, doctors here aren't going to oppose the party line because all healthcare if government so if you get black listed you are moving to another country to be a doctor.
We might not use voting machines the way the US does but, what about tabulators? Somewhere in the process votes will be tallied and entered into a digital database.
