Over the past couple of days, I've been reading articles that include personal photos of the thirteen service members when they were alive. I've copied a number of them and run them through tineye.com. Tineye.com allows you to sort them from the oldest to the newest time they were found on the internet.
So far, I haven't found a single photo that is older than the last week and a half or so. Not one.
Surely some of these photos would have been posted online by family or shared by the service member themselves before the end of August 2021.
Can anyone find a photo posted before this month? I'm still looking...

I don’t think that’s odd. I haven’t ever had my photo or any on my children’s photos posted on line.
I'm leaning towards this as well...not all of us post our entire lives on the internet.
Past that every media company tries to post images that they can take credit for.

But in today's era of technology, that's more the exception than the rule. Most of these fallen Marines were in their early twenties. They would have had FB and other social media accounts...not to mention things that could have been posted online by high school sports teams and other clubs via media releases.
Except one of the first things taught to new recruits and reinforced annually is basic OPSEC. Including not posting your picture on social media, but especially announcing where you were going or what your unit was doing.
Not saying a few don't slip through the cracks, I had to refer a few to their commanders for Article 15s back in the day.

I think that is odd. I haven't been able to use my FB account in over a decade, but plenty of people take my picture at various gatherings and they end up online.
Yeah, but tineye isn't going to find and match those.
If those people have private accounts then the web isn't going to crawl those pics.
I know lots of people who have no photos online. Privacy thing.
I guarentee you that out of 13 families one would share that exact pic proudly of their son in uniform on facebook so family members could see.

Nope. I searched every one on my kids and myself and get no photos. I’m willing to bet it’s the same for most people.
tineye yourself, do you find anything? it can only search publically available pics, and I assume a private facebook account wouldnt show up. not everyone plasters themselves across the interwebs
And even as far as publicly available material goes, Tineye doesn't index everything - far from it.
Tineyeing myself wouldn't do any good, as I've never been on social media, nor do I even share photos among my friends and relatives for them to have posted anything.

LoneWulf... I have been studying these two photos of the Taliban in the presidential palace. I do not know about image manipulation in digital photo.
I see some odd things comparing the two photos. Open up the two photos in two tabs so you can toggle back and forth and compare them.
Look at photo #1... the short guy just to the left of the guy sitting down. Look at his right elbow where it appears to be just forward of the sitting guys left shoulder.
Now look at photo #2... same place.
What's with that dark spot on the sitting guys shoulder where the elbow was before.

In photo #2 I think all three guys to the left of the guy sitting down are photo shopped in. I don't think they are afghan.
In photo #1 check out the tall guy to the far left. His head does not seem proportional to his body, the beard looks fake.... and call me crazy... it sure as hell looks just like Ben Affleck with a phony beard photo shopped on.
Something about the reflections in the desk surface also seems off.

Consider just the short guy for the moment:
The only difference between the two photos is where the guy is looking. It's almost as though the face, alone, was photoshopped in.
Look at the two metal cylinders of the gun stock and their position relative to the buttons on his shirt. The are aligned precisely the same in both photos. The smallest motion would changed the alignment. Yet, his right hand is more above the table in the first pic, and more below it in the second.
It looks to me like this is photoshopped. The entire image has been shifted slightly downwards in the second photo, leaving everything else exactly the same (other than a photoshopped face.)

This issue overlaps another matter I'm tracking...
Mike Lindell and the Cyber Symposium 9/10/12 August.
There was all this drama about the County Clerk / Recorder Tina Peters showing up on the 10th and this derailed the scheduled examination of the PCAPS which was the whole reason for the symposium.
I've been tracking her appearances on The Lindell Report on Lindell TV and the written reporting all pretty much based on an article written by Brannon Howse, the main anchor on Lindell TV and on frankspeech.com.
She has said some things that just don't square, and Lindell and Howse push her image as a gold star mom of a Navy SEAL who is reported to have died in a sky diving accident in New York in 2017.

Three guys with lots of training all die from "diving." Sounds like comms to me. Like you said, diving into the deep black.
Most service men and women do not post while they are still active. Otherwise the enemy would find them.

Try searching a photo of yourself see if you get any hits.
Try google, bing and other reverse search engines. Tineye isn't that good sometimes. Even then, these reverse image search engines are faulty. Try reverse image searching your own family photos and you'll see the same results
