History will determine which side I’m on, but I will have lived it. My father was always able to provide me with an objective and insightful evaluation of “his” history, I want to do the same. I told her that wasn’t the issue the issue was the way he did it. You don’t pull the military first, you get the civilians out, get our equipment and then the military. She looked at me aghast like it was a whole new issue. You can tell where she’s getting her news….
The only thing that made it out safely were the jihadis. Our weapons didn't make it and most importantly, those Marines didn't make it. If the situation were the same, but it had been Trump's doing, imagine the media fallout.
The people that support Joe Biden don't even support Joe Biden. The only thing their brains can think of is that if they criticize Joe Biden they are helping Orange Man, or his supporters. Logic and reason do not apply.
What I find frustrating is so many of those who did actually vote for Biden take zero ownership or responsibility. They weren't voting because they liked him, they voted because they were programmed to hate Trump.

First world problems, life is too good… the basic physiological necessities are accessible. As you move up the hierarchy of needs you can then start to see how much of it is psyche-oriented… safety, love/belonging, esteem, self actualization.

Anyway, I’m curious what she thinks now. If her programming breaks, then the plan is working.
