Am I alone in being leery of the flu shot this year?

I have not gotten the Covid vaccine, it scares the shit out of me. I have a family history of strokes and the last thing I need is blood clots. My husband, unfortunately, sees no issues at all and got the J&J shot in May. Felt like crap for about 24 hours after the shot, but otherwise he has thankfully had no issues.
Now he is off to get the seasonal flu shot. I have in years past gotten the flu shot without a second thought but this year I am reluctant to get it. He thinks I'm nuts but with everything that is going on, I wouldn't put it past anyone to tinker with the flu shot as well right now. Anyone else feeling the same way?

I personally got a flu shot a couple of years back for shits and gigs but never again. That year I was the sickest I've ever been in recent memory.
Ditto. And for me, it also triggered annual cases of really bad flu for about ~10 years forward.
It took that long for my body to reset so that I wasn't getting sick at the snap of a finger -- during the fall/winter AND summer seasons annually.
Huge regret of mine. And all because one year I decided to go for an annual check-up (something I hadn't done before - but I figured, I really don't take advantage of my medical insurance that comes out of my paycheck), and thought, "gee, my doctor seems to think this is going to be a really good idea, so sure, why not"

Nope my wife and I talked about it today. I'd suspect they try to sneak in the COVID vaccine. Why not even if you asked for the Safety Data Sheet for the components they're not all listed. So what's to stop them from adding the Covid shot or perhaps REPLACING the COVID shot for the Flu shot. Not getting it.
My grandparents neither one took the flu shot ever in their lifetime. They live to 95 and 97. I plan to do the very same.
Have never gotten the flu, and from what I hear, after you get the flu shot, it seems like you get way worse symptoms then had you not gotten it.
Something very sus when they always claim the viruses are 'dead' coming from a vaccine, but yet many still get symptoms and can get quite ill.

Theres a lot of talk of them sneaking the vaccine into the flu shot so yeah be very leary. No one should have ever got a flu shot to start with you let your immune system take care of it not destroy your immune system.
Last time I got a Flu shot was in 2015. I told my current Dr I had a bad reaction and voila, medical exemption. I know a medical exemption is tacit approval that they have the right to require an exemption or negative test but I'll play this thing out until the drop dead deadline of September 30. Then, I'll make them fire me, begin collecting my retirement, and sue their asses.

i used to get flu shots. one year, the flu shot made me sick.
when i told my doctor the flu shot made me sick, they immediately dismissed it as a coincidence.
Every year my Dad and or my MIL would get the flu shot they'd get sick. My MIL hasn't had a flu shot in 3 years and she hasn't been sick either, she's 87.
Same for me; the first year I got the actual shot (work requirement, medical field), I had vertigo the very next day. And it lasted 3-4 wks. My work nurse completely brushed it off where as an outpt MD actually entertained the connection. Have had autoimmune issues ever since.
I'll never take another vax unless those that do before me sprout wings, halos and ascend to Heaven. Seriously, I rarely ever took the flu vax since I've been out of the Army over 30 years ago but still never caught more than a bad cold occasionally.
I have been mostly against the flu shot for years. Now? I would not trust them. Not even a little bit.

Just read yesterday that some Big Pharma is working on merging the flu shots with the Covid jab. I wouldn't go anywhere near the flu shot this year.
Full disclosure: I've had no vaccinations since I was a kid and don't want any.

Ask most people what they think a placebo is and they’ll assume it’s saline or sugar or something benign like that. WRONG - saline is almost never used as a placebo.

To date I have never had a flu shot, and have never had the flu!
PS I think the J&J was not an Mrna but the old school live attenuated shot like the other flu shots were. I may be wrong and hope someone will correct me about the J&J, it was just something I had heard earlier via a Dr giving a lecture on the side effects of Mrna shots.

I appreciate the feedback. As is the case for many of you, most of my family have gotten the jab, and I just feel so alone with no one to talk to who doesn't roll their eyes and poo-poo my concerns. It's nice to have the support here, it's appreciated.

It doesn't even work. An efficacy study in 2015 found it 45% effective, but only for people who didn't have it the previous year. It was only 15% effective for people who did.
Vaccines are made with aborted fetal tissue. I am sorry, but how in the heck can anyone get another injection from that information alone? I have a God I will need to face for my actions one day and that will not be one of them.
No you're not, a lot of people have expressed the same thing.... including me. I don't know if I can ever trust the flu shots this year, how do we know it's not just the covid shots repackaged and relabeled?
I’m never getting another shot again. Every year I have gotten the flu shot, I’ve come down with a HORRIBLE flu-like illness a few weeks later. Haven’t had it in 3 years...other than Covid in Dec. 2019 I’ve just dealt with allergies the last few years. Huh.
I don’t think any of these recurring shots are going to be trusted after this. And sad because the older vaccines did put a stop to horrible sicknesses! The CDC, NIH, and Fraud Fauci have obliterated trust in 3-4 generations of the world population. These organizations will need to be dismantled for new, or more trusted organizations to provide the helpful vaccinations and medicines.

I heard a few days ago that they put graphene oxide in the 2019 flu shots. Personally, I've never had a flu shot and after this, I would never get one.
I'm leery of all shots now, the legitimacy of virology in general
