Great advice, so needed right now.
My wife is taking on water. Figuratively, not literally. It's getting difficult to keep her from breaking down. DoD states that I'll be losing my job in early DEC unless I get jabbed, which I will never do. Trying desperately to get a private sector job. I may get my salary cut in half but it's better than giving in.

Two years back I was cool as the other side of the pillow in any situation ive been in during my 37yrs… but the last two have slowly worked wheedled that down to the point where im taking anxiety meds occasionally (not daily yet) just to keep goin without feeling my blood pressure rise. This shit has to end - I pray the first domino falls soon and that the effect it has moves quickly

Yes but also, fastidious cleaning, thorough maintenance, frequent and realistic training, and high personal standards of health and hygiene. Some water may still get in, but you'll be prepared to plug the holes or patch the ruptured pipes.

Years ago, I maintained an antique water treatment plant and the sewer system feeding it, and when the 2 foot mains were plugged by tree roots, I had to stick my sometime injured hands into the gloopy soup-I am immune to much even now.. I thank God for my strong immune system by not presuming to "improve" on it..

This was out in California in the 70s, when the standards were the strictest in the nation-I was lucky if I hit below the marks needed to pass. The plant WAS that old and an earthquake would have destroyed the digester!!. The one high point were the cherry tomatoes in the drying bed-they were yummy (yet here I am, 76 YO 😁)..

I like the boat analogy posted here. But you cannot sink if you keep your eyes focused on Jesus Christ. Remember Peter? He walked on water as well..until the storm grabbed his attention away and he fell in. Don’t give the rising storm your attention. Let Jesus in, and the storm will calm. Then pass. And if you stay focused on Jesus...you too, will walk on water. Because Christ is the storm.
