I was the same and was dragged along by family expecting lots of Woke stuff. To be honest if it was there, I blurred it out and to be honest it was worth watching.
I found it interesting that Rami Malek was both on Mr. Robot as a hacker against mega-corporations as well as this Bond villain. Two sides of the same coin.
