A lil context about the European Parliament: They do not have power. Not a crumb of power. It's a farce. Checks and balances in the EU is non existent. So while I sympathise, it's no secret that MEPS only trot down to brussels to register their attendance and collect a cheque. The unelected Commission are running the show.
But here's hoping, this trend continues and the EP grows a backbone
