Egotistical
having, showing, or arising from an exaggerated sense of self-importance
Just got over COVID a couple weeks ago and wanted to comment about how a large percentage of vaccinated people seem to have an exaggerated sense of self importance over this 'vaccine'. What's crazy is it is not just the lefty liberal who acts that way normally, it is ordinary people who actually look down at you because they took the shot and you didn't.
You can hear it in their voice when they ask 'did you take the vaccine'? You are almost ready to hear Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, you got sick. Or what they really want to say is how smart they are and how stupid you are for not taking a 'safe and effective' vaccine...which is obviously 'safe and effective' because 1) the TV told them to take it and 2) they are perfectly fine.
The brainwashing has reached unprecedented levels and now is coupled with some sort of pride in your decision to be sheered with the rest of the sheep.
As if the masks weren't bad enough in created bunch of self important weaklings with new found power their mighty mask gave them to lash out at anyone who doesn't comply with their feelings. Now we have a whole other group who wear their vaxxed status like a big tattoo, while they look down at you from their self aggrandized perch above all us dummies.
I think a fast way to break through their confidence is just by asking them how many boosters they will take. Don’t even argue. Let them set their own line. Eventually they have to admit they would accept boosters for life or they wouldn’t. That either makes them a refuser like you or a slave to government.
This is excellent.
I use to hang out on an old school conservative forum for 20 years. Joined this site last week because I couldn't take the "holier than thou" attitude of pro vax conservative, mostly Christians. In a matter of words, I was told I was going to hell because only a Libertarian would not agree with vax mandated and Libertarians are Satanists. I provided quotes from a book about the vaccine industry - how the NIH has acknowledged that the AIDS epidemic was most likely caused by the polio vaccine. Mention that to covidians and they act like they're deaf.
Glad to have you join us!
Thanks!
Welcome, you are going to enjoy this place.
Thank you!
I would like to know more. What book?
Jabbed: How the Vaccine Industry, Medical Establishment, and Government Stick It to You and Your Family by Brett WIlcox
Also Pharma: Greed, Lies, and the Poisoning of America by Gerald Posner
Check out Bad Pharma by Ben Goldacre.
Thanks, I'll add it to my reading list.
You're welcome. Goldacre is one of "them" but offers a sober look at the pharmaceutical industry. Him being on their team helps his message, I think.
As Homer Simpson would say, "2) they are perfectly fine. SO FAR."
If this vax is as dangerous as we think and know it is, then these egomaniacs won't be around to tsk tsk. Unless they got a saline, but I don't feel like 2 shots plus numerous boosters will ALL be saline, so their Russian Roulette bullet is coming up.
Ego never saved anyone from a blood clot.
The vax is not even vegan, not sure why they so proud of being GMO-ed.
<head spinning>
Will have questions when the dizziness wears off....
The proud will fall
I think it is mostly just programming of attitudes via the MSM media and the social media.
They are very good at getting subtle messages across. That un-vaxxed people are ignorant uneducated rednecks who will not believe any science. I think that they are trying to form the impression that unvaccinated people are dirty spreaders of the virus who are ruining everything for the people that obey all the rules.
I don't think this is working as well as you think. It is only a matter of time before it becomes obvious to the normies how ineffective the vaccine is against the virus. Hopefully it also becomes clear how unsafe it is.
The people refusing the vaccine also might not be lining up so well with the image that the corporate media is trying to create.
Many people are standing on the principles of bodily autonomy and human rights.
If someone is able to pronounce the word “autonomy”, and use it correctly in a sentence, it is hard to continue to see that person as an uneducated redneck.
Owen Benjamin made a great persuasion suggestion that we refer to Covid not as a “mass hysteria” but a “moral panic”.
Moral panic is effective because it reframes the whole thing for the left. To them they hear the word “moral” and they want to run away. They don’t want the association.
Moral panic is also less aggressive, so it doesn’t cause Covidians to immediately become defensive and dig into their position.
It's more important to belong to what they consider the right club, which will actually reassure them they did the right thing, than to use their brains.
It's a cult of sheep. They have no ability to think/act on their own. A lawyer friend of mine took the vax. I asked her why, after she stated that she never got flu, shingles, etc. shots. She said "I thought it was the right thing to do, you know, the 'greater good'". I was stunned.
Stunning is right. I’ve heard by more than one liberal that the people who won’t take the jab are “morally irresponsible” (said, of course, in a haughty tone of “moral superiority”).
That's ok...you now have natural immunity which is priceless and totally unavailable to them. So who is the winner here?
This is true with the louder people, but when I got covid, I was pleasantly surprised by some people. One of the most masked and vaxxed families I know, they have true fear of covid. He knows I don't wear a mask, he knows I am not vaxxed. He texted me to see how I was doing with sincerity, we later talked about it and he said everyone is going to get this. Said he knows people that wear the mask and taken the vax like he has who have gotten sick. I didn't go all masks are bullshit with him, I just listened and agreed that everyone will get this. We can't tell them, they have to be shown.
In retrospect, there may be a lot of people half awake, half asleep, they will be the quiet ones. The loud ones are the ones we see who are egotistical, these are not the masses, just those that are loud about it, probably the most asleep of all.
No one should know whether you or anyone is vaccinated or not.
Let's get back to treating private medical info as such.
Earlier in the year I was asked quite often if I had the jab. Lately a couple people have mentioned to me that they wish they hadn’t gotten the jabs and are refusing to get the boosters. I believe people are catching on. Slowly.
Sadly, it will be the deaths of children that will provide the ultimate wake up call, and put an abrupt end to the vax charade.
Yeah, I don't pay them any mind, though. Pseudo-Intellectuals.
My sister is basically being bullied by her vaccinated friends - people I wouldn’t have thought would ever act this way. She’s feeling the pressure and I am trying to inform her as much as possible, without being overbearing. Please say a prayer!
Have her just say she got it. You don’t have to prove it.
It's 2021, you can just "identify" as whatever you want to be, apparently.
Thanks for sharing. I feel your pain exactly the same way.
Mass hypnosis. Adam Curry talked about it all the time on No Agenda.
Well, last night I had a group chat with a couple NY buddies who’ve both had to get the jab. One is studying dentistry and had to reluctantly, wasn't on board at all. But the other friend happily got both jabs and now has covid and couldn’t take his cruise this weekend because of it. Bwah hahahahaha. He has been the most self righteous @sshole about “doing his part,” “being responsible,” trying to guilt me into complying numerous times and dropping out of the group chats like a bitch whenever we’d talk about the tyranny or xiden etc. So HA, phaggot. That jab was sooo effective, huh? He says its been like a bad cold and ready for some beer tonight but oh nooos, he can’t leave the house till next weekend. Maybe, just maybe he will finally get it. I’ve tried to keep some friends, hoping they’d see the light, understand the memes, hear me out sometimes. But, this time I didn’t say “I told you so” because it was unnecessary.
I know we’ve all had to exercise extreme patience with all of this but It seems like now the “fully vax’d” might start seeing they’ve made a tremendous mistake, risked their lives, their futures, their fertility and STILL got the coof anyway.
Pride comes before a fall, or the 4 or 5th booster. Kinda as desirable as a Timeshare property. Right.
I also had the WUFLU and have natural immunity. I like to think of myself as a Warrior. I have multiple medical issues including Heart Failure. This may sound crazy but I'm actually thankful that I had it. Now the entire Vax question isn't an issue. I have immunity that was given to me by God. I know it's still good after 11 months. Recently was at a family party which one had COVID. I hugged her while there cuz I wasn't scared. After the party two people got it from her but not my hubby and I. Not even a sniffle. Don't let others make you feel uncomfortable. If someone says something to you just smile and say I'm good. I have natural immunity 👍
PS Just tell them I'm not against vaccines I just don't want to be bullied about it. My body my choice right?
