Bit tricky for people already under threat or already fired by companies eagerly jumping at the chance to mandate, which was half the point of delaying (the other being to put off the OSHA issuance until after the 2021 elections).
You won't like what I am about to say but.... people saw this coming. It wasn't a last minute surprise. If people knew they couldn't ride it out they had options. They could have put the wheels in motion so they wouldn't find themselves here. Change is hard but sometimes doing what's hard in the short term makes things easier in the long term

I hope South Carolina will be next! I’m a state employee and got the email that we have to get the vax. Our Governor has started a law suit and issued an executive order barring any South Carolina cabinet agency from issuing or enforcing any vaccine mandate, but he can’t protect all of us. He said he would go to the gates of hell to protect us...and I believe he’ll do his best! He’s a fighter for freedom. I believe I’ll try religious exemption...I hope it works!

I hope that everybody who planned on walking out of their jobs from the eighth to the 11th still holds true. Just because they have to stay, it doesn’t mean that it’s going to last.
