It's a smart way to say nothing at all. "A lot of people" would be happy if he didn't run, too.
He's not announcing because there are laws for that type of thing. He already stated this once before. He is not going to be "installed", we would have to wait for 2024 for him to run again.

It should be clear to everyone by this point that Trump isn't going to fix all of our problems and nor should he. This country was founded on the principles of self motivation and personal responsibility. You want to make changes? Get involved in your local politics. This plan requires us and again rightly so. If Trump goes in and fixes everything by himself, it will only last as long as the next person who can easily undo everything as we're seeing now with the Crapmander in Sleep. The Fed is way too powerful and needs to have its hands permanently tied. Every election should end with the losers shrugging like it's no big deal because in the end our country should not be sculpted by one man or one ideology. It should function as a maintenance entity and nothing more.

Something tells me that if we go off of the county maps, those corrupt governors are likely to run for the hills, than try to carry on the illusion that they're in power.

I don't understand the downvotes either. I was just pointing out the ambiguity of Trump's statement. I see it as a troll to leftists who would be happy to see him not run and as hopium to his base that he will. Riles up both sides in different ways with one statement.
And, as others have pointed out, campaign finance laws are certainly a factor.
I've often thought he won't run again. Because so many judge their politicians on personality not policy I don't think the country will ever truly unify, as Q as prophesized, with Donald Trump as president, as much as we all love and respect him. He's often said this role of his is no picnic it involves tremendous sacrifice of his family and himself. I completely understand if he just took all things into consideration and pass the crown to someone Worthy. Perhaps DeSantis, Rand Paul, maybe a half dozen others.
I'm sure these same thoughts have crossed a lot of people's minds, they're quite understandable.
There will never be true unity in a society like ours. But that's kind of the point. A society that agrees with itself is no longer a free society.
What will happen is there will be fringe contingents of people unwilling to accept the truth who will live in fear of their own delusions that literally Hitler is in power again all the while the children they didn't abort will grow up put off by them.
Also, why are we pushing to be united under a man? We should all be united under the ideals of freedom and nothing more. Things should be scaled back to a point where the Fed has zero relevance in people's lives.
I think because it misses the point. If he was going to just run or not run he would say so, the whole campaign finance law is a cover excuse because it would only matter if he said he was going to run in 2024, but was legally not able to because he assumes the president before the 2 year mark. (i didn't downvote.) People could use his assuming the presidency as a shot at 3 illegal terms and the DS would try to take him down again. We either have to see the DS completely dismantled OR 2 years completed by the fraudulent faggot squatting in the WH.
