Birth centers usually do low risk deliveries, and it isn't widely available in some areas, unfortunately. I think a large majority of pregnant women will still need to use a hospital, and it's pretty scary to think of all of the wrong things that could occur due to hospital policies and medical policies, let alone routine emergencies that can occur with even a low risk pregnancy. It's definitely a scary time for those who are pregnant.

Yep hospitals are terrible. My husband sat in the lobby for two hours when the little one was 1-3 hours old. He had already missed the birth but I was still mad as hell. They thought I already had someone come see the birth, which I didn't. They were threatening I would be alone until discharged. I was threatening to walk out, it was fun.
Midwives who do homebirths/birthing centers are busier now than ever before because of all this stupid hospital BS. Some advice to women who may become pregnant and want to avoid a hospital: contact a midwife as soon as you know you are pregnant. All of the good midwives in my area are backed up until August.
Absolutely outrageous. A total abomination...I hate government overreach, but let's get the government working in our favor with laws to protect citizen from this sort of treatment. This hospital should be sued into the ground. In the meantime, avoid hospitals like the plague. It's going to take some time, but the parallel economy needs to extend to all facets of life including medical care.
A few days ago, one of my close friends was refused access to his dying mother in Einstein's ICU because he was not jabbed... as one can certainly imagine, he became upset.. the nurses felt "threatened by an angry black man" and had security remove him from the ICU and then proceeded to call the police.
To their credit, the police tried to reason with the nursing staff... offering to escort and stay with my friend in the ICU so he can have a last visit with his mother. They refused. They would only allow a Facetime call.
Fortunately, everything was captured on video. Einstein is NOT going to come out of any of this looking pretty.
I was denied surgery at TJ Sampson community hospital in Glasgow KY. I was cussed by the surgery scheduling to the point that patient advocacy had to get involved. My doctor then dropped me from her care... I hope they all go to prison.

Guys we have power! Strength in numbers! They dont know we all arent from philly! This is a major tool we can use to force places that are mandating jabs and firing us to back off! We can flood work places, hospitals, everywhere we can with angry calls saying how disgusted we are and how the data doesnt back up what their doing. If enough of us flood the phone lines and email these evil bastards maybe they will start doing the right thing. It works for the radical left when they get people cancelled and sponsors removed. We have to show we are the majority!

Some women cannot deliver in that setting--think multiples, high risk deliveries, preterm deliveries, etc.

My point is that any delivery can turn into a high risk delivery within minutes. I am an L&D RN, and I’ve seen it happen hundreds of times.

If you live in Orlando I highly recommend Jenny Joseph, I haven't seen her in a few years but she delivered 3 out of 4 of my children.
