Many people of ethnic background have black, course curly hair. That doesn’t make you black. My husband is lily white with black course hair. It’s got enough curl to wiry. He’s had ancestry DNA & no black in his DNA. His cousin has same type of hair except it’s more brown to blonde. His dad has the same hair and they thought it they had Native American in the family. It’s European, jew & Roman areas on the Ancestory DNA maps. (It didn’t matter to us if we had black ancestry. In the end we all have multiple genetic backgrounds.)
