This is my reaction whenever I hear anyone mention literally anything about covid-19.

My daughter's friend just cancelled/postponed her wedding two weeks before the event because of the variant.
I just can't believe it. The millennial generation is the most brain washed and fearful of COVID. There is so much that goes into planning a big wedding and to cancel it because of a "mild flu" is just crazy and not rational at all.
Mi Esposa and I spent about $300 on our wedding. Married in the base Chapel and reception at the O-Club.
Though, it was a VERY short notice ceremony when I got orders for Desert Storm the morning after it kicked off.
And we did lose a number of deposits for the actual wedding in Vermont that we never did.....
But in the end, that was less expensive in the end! But she had horses - sooooooo.....
My wife and i got married on the beach barfoot at the tip of the lealenau peninsula in Michigan. The only thing more beautiful that that spot is my wife. Just our immediate family was there.
Months later we had a reception. Bbq pig in yhe backyard.
There is definitely a segment of the population that are all about the "big ceremony" of having a wedding.
They think it's rationale because the experts said so
Exactly...I keep trying to bring her to her senses, but the fear is just too great to overcome.
Sometimes I think it's because almost all of the millennial generation just had vaccines growing up...for mumps, measles, chicken pox. They never had any of the childhood diseases that I had when I was younger.
I experienced chicken pox, mumps, measles when I was in elementary school and I remember just staying home from school for a week and then it was over.
If she is that fearful, the groom is dodging a bullet, whether he knows it or not. A life with someone who is ruled by fear is pure misery.
Can't up Kek this post more.
Vests123, what you should be doing is NOT talking to your daughter, but the groom. And make sure he understands the total ramifications if he goes through with it.
I love my daughters, and will support them pretty much most of the way. But if either one did this because of that reason, I'd be telling the groom to RUN AWAY! Mostly because the wouldn't have gotten to that point without my respect. I'd never tell my daughters WHO to marry, but I can certainly warn the potential groom.
If my daughter pulled that stunt, I’d seriously tell her to get the groom’s parents to pay for the do-over. It’s now, or this Dad’s DONE.
The amount of jabs they've had is insane. I used to think anti-vaxxers (remember when that was a lefty thing? Pepperidge Farm remembers.) were exaggerating until I learned that kids these days get nearly ten times more vaccine injections than I've had in my entire life and I'm only pushing 40.
It's just ridiculous these days. I was shocked to find out that newborn babies (the day they are born) get a hepatitis injection. Unbelievable.
I'm wondering if this is part of the reason the millennials don't mind getting the current vaccines. They've never had the childhood illnesses we all had as children...they've just had vaccines for them.
"fear too great to overcome"
Some really interesting content has come out in the last few months about what is going on here, psychologically. Mass formation, mass psychosis, etc.
Here's the short of it: populations have been put into a state of fear and anxiety by the propaganda machine. In that state, normal and instinctive human response is to look for things that will relieve that situation and allow one to exit that state. Thus, presented: the solution to that anxiety: injections, the lockdowns and the whole C19 nonsense.
To counteract that, people need to be presented with OTHER fears, concerns and anxieties that cannot be resolved by this:
"Your life will ALWAYS be like this if you go along and comply"
"The government and big corporations deciding your life in ALL things will only get worse"
"Are you prepared to live like this forever?"
etc.
So true about some people living in constant fear since this started. The fake MSM is truly the enemy of the people and they know what they're doing.
Good point about bringing in other fears that can't be resolved with a jab. I'm going to try and use this approach with the vaxxers in my life.
Thanks for this suggestion.
Great point!
All she had to do was to make sure that all in attendance were triple Jabbed, and triple Masked.
All would be just peachy!
Right now it's unclear if the venue was giving them a hard time about having a large wedding, so that's why the cancellation? It could be a combination of both...the venue's restrictions and the fear factor.
Most of the people who would be attending have probably been triple vaxxed.
This was me on Sunday. We had family over, and ALL they could talk about was which booster they were on, people they knew who got covid or "died" from it, on and on, it's like they physically couldn't talk about anything else. It took me a bit of effort to switch the conversation to other relevant topics like the tornadoes in Kentucky.
Haven't had cable since 2000. You realize real quickly " around the water cooler " how much people rely upon it to guide social interactions with each other. I always get strange looks from unfamiliar people when they try to initiate a conversation based on some show and i say " I haven't had cable for over 20 years " and the funny thing is the usual response is a somewhat disgusted look and the odd question " Well what do you watch then ? " as if daily programming is a necessary part of life.
For me, Covid is another thing i am " missing out " on because i don't have cable. No, I'm not scared of it and neither are the Amish and they are also doing fine.
"the usual response is a somewhat disgusted look and the odd question " Well what do you watch then ? " as if daily programming is a necessary part of life."
Good response - 'So - Which dystopian programming program do you watch?'
they usually open up with that though " hey did you see the such and such last night ? " XD but I catch your drift
Last I heard the homeless are drunk or high but not talking about covid.
When we have our online company meetings (I work remotely) our medical Director always manages to devote the first few minutes to The Coof. Now he’s talking about the Moronic, er Omicron variant.
I just want to shout at all of these sheep , Medical Director included. And yes I just want to slap silly anyone who mentions The WuFlu, family included. So sick and tired of their willful stupidity, their irrational fear and the constant drumming of this topic in our ears. Time to move on with life.
Double-jabbed and boosted in-laws called yesterday to say that they are not doing anything on Christmas Eve, they won't be coming to our annual Christmas breakfast nor will they be going anywhere for Christmas dinner. They are so fearful of covid that it's nauseating. My mother-in-law was here a month or two ago and I tried to tell her about a fraction of what we know and it fell on deaf ears. I don't know if anything registered with her when I asked her if they were told that the jab is literally a clinical trial. She said they weren't told anything.
They're both in their early 80's and they are not going to have many holidays left to celebrate. My husband and I are the only ones in his family that aren't jabbed and that makes them even more uncomfortable. I am hoping that the truth eventually comes out and that there's a special place in hell for the perpetrators of this madness.
It will be too late - regrettably.
My Father is a pretty committed Socialist (he calls himself a Democrat - but he was born and raised in the UK) who ONLY watches CNN and MSNBC.
He WILL NOT EVER concede that he has been lied to and manipulated. And regrettably, my mother is in early dementia and she just follows him.
If you can, just spend time with them. Or at least call. I suck at calling (we live in FL they live in TX), and need to try to do it more.
😂
Me too -- except for the "literally." They know that I mean what I say, and say what I mean!
Top kek
To be fair, "literally" is top cringe.
In many contexts I agree, but in this meme it made me laugh really hard, which is healthy for people to do
What I hate is when people use literally to MEAN figuratively: That literally makes my head explode. :)
😂 😂😂
I haven't laughed out loud in a while. Thanks.
If this were a leftist meme there would be a novel in each dialogue bubble
lmao omg i love this!!
But here you are, literally.
Perfect if not for "literally"
Legit how I feel
You are mentioning COVID-19
The vast majority are pussies. No more, no less. It's generally associated with being a dipshit as well. I blame the education system above all else. Everyone was a winner, and your feelings mattered. I was born in 84, I saw it firsthand as I grew up. Thankfully I did not turn out like the average millennial. God Bless my total Gen X parents and uncles.
YASSS! Love this. I'm ready to baby-shake some MFers.
This is why I don't get on communities to often, 95% of post are related to covid. I like this site more when it was more focused on qonspiracies.
Suh-LAPP!!! kek
Schmack!
Perfect…! lmao
Unfortunately that's where the fight is. I feel you. I'd rather be posting links about Durham indictments, maybe some Durham arrests, and a couple tribunals wouldn't be bad, either.
