As a side note to chicken pox, I recently had a friend (pHD in microbiology) tell me that he had scheduled a ‘shingles’ vaccination appointment because 4 people he knew had recently gotten the shingles. I told him to ask all 4 if they had received the Covid19 vax and bet him that they all had. Sure enough they all had.
Luckily he hadn’t gotten the CV19 vax yet and I red-pilled him in a big way. I explained to him that all 4 of those people had their immune systems weakened with the vax and that is why they are getting the shingles. He cancelled the shingles appt and has now decided against the CV19 vax as well and received a religious exemption from work.
One at a time folks - still some that can be saved!
"Shingles" is what happens to adults who once had chicken pox lose their old immunity and the original pox comes back even worse. They aren't getting it again, they are getting the original chicken pox because it never left, but their immune system could no longer fight it.
Once you get chicken pix, you always have it. That's why you generally only get it once - your immense system can't completely kill it all but it learns how to fight it to a standstill so it can't make you sick, and stays that way forever. It only comes back if your immune system forgets how to fight it, or is weakened to much to fight it effectively - and then it comes back harder than it ever was before so we call it shingles.
This is also why shingles cases don't require exposure to someone with singles. Exposure usually happened years -decades - earlier.
Shingles is one of the earliest symptoms of AIDS destroying an infected persons immune system.
Interesting antidotal observation. I know 2 people, both got shingles for the first time in their lives within 3 months of the 2nd jab dose. Both healthy, 59 female, 55 (or so) male.
Their immune systems are compromised - hence the shingles. Unfortunately there is a pandemic of cancers about to erupt for the very same reason....compromised immune systems that keep cancer cells at bay - until Covid vaccines. Mark my words - cancer is about to esplode..!
Me too. It was Spring of 1974, I remember my mom telling me to suck on my cousins popsicle sticks at a “popsicle party”. I was grossed out but she insisted it was best.
While walking home on the very last day of school I noticed the first itchy spots on my belly and told my mom I was hot and didn’t feel good. She lifted up my shirt and cheered with delight.
I did the exact same thing for my kids in the late 90’s.
My parents did the same. My aunt, mom's younger sister, ended up getting chicken pox from me. She recently just got ovet a pretty nasty bout with shingles earlier this year. Guess what else she got earlier this year? Yep, you guessed it: Pfizer's Clot Shot. I tired telling everyone in my family to avoid that shit like their lives depended on it. The only ones who listened were me adult kids.
Better the risk of shingles than chicken pox for the first time as an adult - hence your mother was smart to get you exposed at a young age.! Call and thank her.
I tried to come at her with this angle at the beginning of Covid but my CNN/Hospital brainwashed wife had a meltdown, like I was wanting to wipe out the world on my own. And like me she remembers the Chicken-Pox parties but Covid OMG NOOOOOOO! We’re gonnnaaaa dieeeee! Just stupid.
We had Covid gatherings every Sunday at our house during 2020 when our church was shutdown for about 3 months 😉. Families/kids probably averaged 30-40 folks each week. We really got to know some great people from church that we normally just waved to and said ‘Hi’ every week.
That's great. I love it! We did the same. Only 2 families at most came over at a time. People need that Christian fellowship! Ended up having to leave that church (that I was even a deacon at) because of their damned mask policy.
As Christians we refused to live in fear and buy into their propaganda. Yes we understood the risks and certainly asked some of the older folks to make sure they understood their own risks but as a whole, everyone just felt that the fellowship was more important than the risks.
Our mom was kind of a hippy....we we all eating natural foods and taking herbs, etc. She got us to multiple parties...2 times we never got the pox. She took us off herbs and let us eat shifty for a week and then we got enough pox to qualify as immune.
Moral, Strong immune systems make it hard to get sick and, Memory T cells
And nowadays if you try throwing pox parties or try participating the government likes to try sending their “child protective service” out to visit you for endangering your children. “Don’t you know theres a vax for the pox?” Yeah. Bastards. I remember reading about these CPS visits in my vaccine discussion group on facebook before they suspended my account.
Yep, it goes even further back then the 80’s.
My parents did the same. My brother, 10 cousins and I all had it at the same time! We just about drove my mom and aunts crazy those two and half to three weeks!
When our older son was 15, I asked our MD to check his chicken pox titer, as he had never had c-pox but had several exposures (and c-pox can have serious consequences if contracted when older). MD offered the vaccine instead. I held my ground because I was sure he must have had a sub-clinical case (no symptoms). I was right. His lab work showed that he was chicken pox immune!
i guess i didnt have chicken pox as a kid, but did get it in my mid-twenties...dr was amazed, took some pics of the bumps for a study...wasn't all over, mostly mid-section, and got over it just fine...absolutely no vaxx or shingles shot for ME!!
What's amazing to me is that I've talked to several people currently in their 20s and 30s and they've never had chicken pox. Not only that, but they don't know any of their peers that have had it either.
The vax came out around 2000. None of my kids have had the pox. Over half have never had the vax for it. I assume the vax works for it, but the trade-off might be chronic disease.
Now I'm curious if my friend's kids have had it. They were homeschooled and literally have never gotten any vaccinations. Claims they have never had health issues as a result of their choice. Gotta see if they've had the pox now lol.
I have two kids who had the pox vax, but the younger five didn't. Some of them were in public school for awhile and never got a communicable disease while there. I was a little nervous we would get branded as patient zero if they got chicken pox or whooping cough, but nothing but an occasional tummy bug.
my parents took me to easter as a kid fully knowing I had the chicken pox. i was sequestered until morning of easter monday and then allowed to play freely so everyone else could be exposed
My daughter recently shared my granddaughter's pox contaminated tshirts with someone looking for the bug. All of my G-kids have gotten it through sharing 😊
It’s also the same way when women are all living together their periods sync up - being around other kids, there’s a mirroring immune system reaction that happens
I don't recall getting them, but I do recall sleeping for about a week and having soups and that delicious cold medicine, the one we no longer hear about....
I'm in my early 60's and I remember them, that's how I got it. Never did get mumps, but I think I might have had whooping cough.
I also remember being vaccinated for measles and still getting a mild case that they said would have been worse if I wasn't vaccinated. The more things change, the more they stay the same......
My mother, her sister and their friends would get together with us kids 2-3 times/week. There weren't chicken pox, measles, mumps parties per se but we all had the children's illnesses at the same time.

Nice win!
This happened to a vaxed friend of mine as well. Told him his cd8 cells dropped, leaving him wide open for the shingles to pop up.
Yep! When I had chicken pox as a child (1970’s), my mom took me to grandpas house to play with all my cousins. Herd Immunity.
Me too. It was Spring of 1974, I remember my mom telling me to suck on my cousins popsicle sticks at a “popsicle party”. I was grossed out but she insisted it was best.

Wow. So many around the same age…my family did the same thing around the same time.
My parents did the same. My aunt, mom's younger sister, ended up getting chicken pox from me. She recently just got ovet a pretty nasty bout with shingles earlier this year. My mom did it to me in 1960 Now at risk of shingles
Shingles will heal. Chicken Pox as an adult can KILL you.
Real painful and keeps coming back

70-80s? I guess we were still catching up in Africa. This happened in the early to mid 90s
90's kids in america remember them too. OP is probably just an older gentleman.
Our mom was kind of a hippy....we we all eating natural foods and taking herbs, etc. She got us to multiple parties...2 times we never got the pox. We took our kids to chicken pox parties just a few years ago. Also covid dinners with friends in 2020/2021. Gotta keep that immune system up to date.

Hahaha. Happened to my brother and I in like 1998.... Parents brought over my cousin who was covered in red lumps. You mean they did that on purpose?!
I remember them vividly, got the pox like 3 times but did enjoy the sleep overs.
i guess i didnt have chicken pox as a kid, but did get it in my mid-twenties...dr was amazed, took some pics of the bumps for a study...wasn't all over, mostly mid-section, and got over it just fine...absolutely no vaxx or shingles shot for ME!!
I got chicken pox in the late 70's, THE DAY BEFORE MY FAMILY WAS LEAVING FOR WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!! Space Mountain was awesome.
Kindergarten in 1980, my whole class had the pox at once

Sure did have a chicken pox party 🤣
I remember this!
We had a chicken pox party lol.
We did this in the 80s. I'm 44. I cant believe how many people here are older than I am. It seems like such a young crowd.
Chicken pox is another hoax btw children just detoxify vaccines at the same exact time
It’s also the same way when women are all living together their periods sync up - being around other kids, there’s a mirroring immune system reaction that happens
I don't recall getting them, but I do recall sleeping for about a week and having soups and that delicious cold medicine, the one we no longer hear about....
My mom had me go to one of these "parties" when I was a kid. Still alive today...
I'm in my early 60's and I remember them, that's how I got it. Never did get mumps, but I think I might have had whooping cough.

"mmm i sure do love being at risk for shingles." -someone whos worst virus ever was hand foot and mouth
Me when I was 6. Why do I have to play with my extremely sick cousin all day? This was around 1993.
I don't remember any parties but I had the pox and measles as a child. It sucked and was itchy but I got over it with no ill effects.
Same with mumps!

Very eye opening Tom Cowan discussion on Chicken Pox. Not a virus but a necessary biological maturation step,
My mother, her sister and their friends would get together with us kids 2-3 times/week. There weren't chicken pox, measles, mumps parties per se but we all had the children's illnesses at the same time.
