They cancel flights after people scurry around to get tested. Leave customers stranded between connecting flights at airports for God knows how long. Don’t think this wasn’t government planned and paid for to disrupt your Christmas, one of the most sacred Holidays. I wonder how much airlines were promised in return monetarily.
Many are simply calling off because they're sick of flying on Christmas. The others are vaxxed idiots who believed they were protected because someone told them they were.

The cancellations are due to the companies already being minimum staffed, combined with very high levels of holiday bookings, as well as many employees testing positive. It’s just having a really big impact because it’s the end of the month, it’s heavy holiday traffic, and most people don’t want to pick up extra time over Christmas, even though it’s extra pay. I’ve seen a lot of comments about how it’s planned or the government has a hand in it... not so.
Or is it a convenient excuse to cancel unprofitable flights? And a negotiating ploy to get the U.S. Government to cut isolation/quarantine time in half?
In a war, this was a weapon that successfully hit many targets. The economy being the battlefield. But, it is only woke companies that will comply and die.

Then another reported 110 canceled.
Then a report came out 2,000 flights canceled.
Meanwhile the visuals all showed random airport shots of routine busy airport life.
One busy gate filled with passengers, which is also normal just before boarding!
To my untrained eye this looks like an attempt by the media to create additional conversation buzz among viewers about the "deadly" omicron.
