New York City is worried about tourism... who in their right mind would visit New York City?

A stinking communist shithole, America should remove the Statue of Liberty and place it where real Americans live.
FL would be a great place to move it to.
save the copper for FMJs!
We should tare it down,it's a monument to the cult.

Goofy stuff but I believe it
Eiffel helped design the Statue of Liberty and I think it was supposed to go to Egypt originally.
now it is just a statue, the issue of " liberty " is highly questioned in these times.
Its saddening how far NYC has fallen. People used to dream of going there. Tourists used to flock to the big apple to see the beauty that was Times square. Now people wouldn't even be caught there in their worst nightmares.
Went to times square once for new years before 9-11.
That must have been beautiful. Its heartbreaking what New York has become. However, now I understand what people from old Detroit were talking about looking at how it is today.
Yeah I just watched a video of a fast food restaurant with about 30 cops in there who were harassing this little first grader boy because he didn't have proof of vaccination.
I think (and hope) that may have been set up by white hats — to show the sheep what life would be like under communist rule. Evidently, “they” targeted the little boy, bypassing adults who sat at the bar with no vax papers. Needless to say, I’m sick of this movie.
My wife keeps saying “I want to go to Italy and France!”
Can’t break it to her that the Italy and France she wants to go to only exists in the movies.
They are Muslim shitholes now.
Yep. Same with San Francisco - fortunately I got to visit it in the 90s when it was still a cool big city with a lot of allure. My wife desperately wants to visit based on my stories from the 90s but I have to keep reminding her that it's not even close to the same San Fran that I used to know.
I've been there three times in the last 15 years.
The decline was evident and shocking.
We stayed at a VERY nice hotel last time. Outside, there were homeless littering the streets. Feces, heroin needles, and unknown fluids were covering the sidewalks.
There were bars on the windows of the BURGER KING!
There was an armed guard outside the Bank of America ATM so customers could feel safe enough to use them.
This has to stop.
Italy really is a shit hole. I went in 2013….beautiful…but very disorderly…no border check at all. Didn’t look at passport. No stamps. Almost got me in trouble when I left out of Germany…they’re like why don’t you have an entry pass…I dunno..they didn’t stamp it…they didn’t even check my passport….where did you come in through?? Italy…Urgh 🙄..stamp.
Who would visit NYC? The same number of people who would visit San Francisco - not many.
I'd rather not even drive through NY state.
Many parts of NY state are beautiful...Upstate NY is mostly conservative and it's the NYC, Albany area that make it a blue state.
I lived in Upstate NY for a few years about 20 years ago and loved it.
Nice hunting and good soil
I have family in upstate NY. The wife and I were thinking about going up to the city for new years. Niether of us has ever been there for new years. Not now, fuck that. I don't even want to go up there to see my family till this shit is over.
I lived on long Island most of my life, only went to Manhattan for new years once. Was it fun? Yes. Until you had to make the mad dash to get on the LIRR and people were trampled and pushed in between the platform and train, standing room only with a bunch of amateur drunks... no thanks. You're welcome kek
Born raised New Yorker left for job 30 yrs ago to Texas ❤️ Do I miss the snow change of season true conservatives in upstate the mountains Woodstock the history the gorgeous scenery along the Hudson ..the thrill of working in NYC and Manhattan back when Broadway was filled with life vitality of 80s and people were hustling to make it there ! Yes that NY I dearly miss - the 911 truthers woke many praise god ! and i lost my best friend from Cantor but as I ramble on …NY is a dear memory to me now and I pray someday for the old beautiful thriving life it was
It will be back….bc time is circular …or a pendulum.
*Detroit enters chat
I hope so and I love that saying fren (:
Was there in 2018 and I thought it was a filthy city ... what a shame I am am sure it wasn't always like that but as an Aussie visiting I would say there are much nicer cities in the world to go!
There are not enough fuck to give about NYC right now until the people regain control
We're a goddamn fucking shit hole over here. There's nothing of value to do or see. The cost of everything is too damn expensive, the people are terrible, and the government is hopelessly corrupt and spends waaaaaay too much money.
It wouldn't surprise me if the plan is mass exodus of Americans from NYC and fill it with the chinese and other easily controlled foreigners.
Oh, yeah, like the ones who got into the universities and sent back all our research. Easily controlled means owned by foreign countries.
Money money money! Hey that was the opening line to a show about New York! LOL.
A youth group I do volunteer work with had a NYC trip planned before the riots and the lockdowns but the trip was cancelled as soon as the lockdowns started.
NYC is now completely off the list of places to go and the planning process has started all over again.
States like Florida and Texas are at the top of the list now.
Just put the fence up already and call Snake Plissken
I did, about 15 years ago. I was a kid and it was my only opportunity to see it. I really did enjoy it back then, it wasn't too terrible. My mom and I felt safe enough to walk around by ourselves without my dad and brother for a while, and then we'd all meet up to eat and go exploring again. We went to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, all the typical touristy things, but I didn't care. To a small 11 year old that city seemed HUGE. I'd never seen anything like it.
It was okay back then, I have fond memories, but now I would not go there unless somebody paid me more than a million dollars and also gave me pure access to every restaurant and other places that require vax passports.
Unless your looking to kill someone or want to get robbed...raped.....or beaten ...no one wants to visit commy york
They finally invented the time machine…we’re back in the 70s
NYC is a sewer!!!!!
Do we really need something that says, "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore." I'm thinking, no. Not at this time.
Visited Manhattan in 2016. Amazing experience. I’m sure it’s considerably different now. Met several based people in New York during my week visit. Went to trump tower and they had it barricaded off.
Imagine thinking it's a good place to live. Obviously those people haven't seen My Dinner With Andre or they somehow put blinders on during the film.
Adrenaline junkies? People who like to run around in the African bush naked and covered with steak sauce.
I think DiBlasio's orders were to weaken NYC in whatever way possible, before he left office. His parting shot of the 'no vax, nowhere to go' mandate is a final straw, unless the new guy reverses that and a bunch of other junk that Dib put into effect.
