They just haven't used it much at all. They don't want to advertise this automobile tracking and shutdown ability.
Let's put it this way: If you can call Onstar to unlock your car doors remotely... what makes you think they can't turn off the car engine? Any time the NSA or DOJ needs to, they can shut down any car (or massive #'s of cars) in the U.S. within a few minutes time.
You should be able to disable it if you own it outright. There’s plenty of people who would finance a Land Rover, if they could, and drive cross country never to be found again. It happened a lot.
I pay cash as well, but I buy used vehicles. From what I’m told, dealerships, on new vehicles, will not accept cash. And this is coming from an uncle work(ed) as a salesman for Ford/Nissan.
First thing I did was disable On-Star on my truck. If you remove the entire thing you'll throw a shit ton of codes but if you remove the board that sends and receives signals you're good!
Just like when they had already installed shunts for data at ATT in the 90's, they need to back fill the legal approval. Can't have the public knowing it is possible without the legal framework.
Back then the key was to FF/Sacrifice bring in the patriot act.
This time it is a belligerent occupation and new laws to cover their deeds.
Now you'll understand the shift to start-stop technology, push button start, electric power steering, electric brake boosters, and over the air software updates. Elimination of manual transmissions, physically connected automatic transmission shift levers and throttle bodies play into this as well.
Yes. So the Left can control your whereabouts by curtailing your flying if unvaxed, by using the kill switch, by denying gasoline either d/t price or unvaxed status, by demanding electric cars which will only take you so many miles before having to be charged-therefore your whereabouts are known at a charging station.
I just praise God for folks that actually read the bills submitted in Congress.
May God bless them
I thought that was already possible.
It is... and has been for at least 10-years.

Yup! Companies are able to hit the kill switch and track for repossession purposes.
Which is bullshit, because financing is usually 3rd party.
I pay CASH for new vehicles. Whats their excuse for a switch for my car?

It is and it has been used. Personal experience and one of my friends within the past year. I've never seen auto insurance move so fast, btw.
If they can shut it down they can speed it up. Tiger Woods is an excellent driver.
Michael Hastings
Paul Walker
Everything is about control with the Democrats.
And 85% of the GOP. Uniparty...
Ive got a better idea. How about we install kill switches in politicians, so we can monitor them, and remotely shut them down.
They work for us.
We dont work for them

This was also one of the reasons for Cash for Clunkers. Reducing the supply of old tech vehicles that could survive an EMP blast.
Yes this was part of it as well. Luckily, there are still ways to protect newer computer controlled vehicles from EMP blasts:

I'll stick with the old carburetor, thanks.
Simple and very effective
That's why I drive an older vehicle... That, and I'm cheap, but it's working out so far
They want to take our cars from us permanently. Government run public transportation only. They're not even hiding this objective.

Just waiting for the first kill switched car that causes a deadly accident💀☠️💀☠️
