Semi's need humans driving them. This crap about electric self driving semis is absurd. How many times have you seen a truck driver negotiate a difficult turn, even running over a curb without destroying a sign or two. Who's putting the snow chains on mid trip? What happens when a hydraulic hose or an air hose bursts mid trip? Blown tires? What about an actual accident?
I drive a "full self driving" Tesla. They aren't taking anybody's job. They barely work as hands free cruise control, its not close to replacing a driver. Likec10 year's is being generous

That's called "Summon." Self-driving is basically cruise control that also steers, stops and changes lanes on its' own. "Summon" is where the car follows the keyfob.

I'm pretty sure he sees what is happening and is ultimately on our side, but he has to exist in their world to accomplish the things he wants to. That is a tough line to walk. I give him the benefit of the doubt but always watch.
