I have been at great odds with this guy though, because Palantir really seems like it's ventures are in epically strange directions. This is an interesting fella, feel the same about musk too.

I agree. I will say this. Peter openly supported Trump in 2016 and went completely against the grain of Silicon Valley. He was ostracized for it. He is known to be a very contrarian person and may have done so for that reason. I just remember all hell breaking loose when he did it. Supporting Trump in 2016 was an insane idea for so many in the big club. Thiel is in the club for sure. He is a regular attendee of the Bilderberg meetings. I have often wondered if he is a sort of mole in such endeavors though. I believe he is self described as having asperger syndrome, too. Not that this matters, but I think he is a bit of a savant. A little more social than Rain Man.

Yeah, my wife used to be libertarian on homosexuality politically, although morally she objected it. Now she understands the damage the ideology of homosexuality does to the cultural fabric. The key point is that Thiel's investment group, Founders Fund, invests in a wide spectrum of companies that include both offensive and defensive cyber warfare and his groups have done lots of work for the US Military.
