This is intriguing, will need to check it out. I happen to have a pixel 4a, not because I wanted a google phone, but was just about the only thing without 5g when I bought it.
Me thinking if there is a line over 300k long just for iPhone users we are about to unleash truth and freedom at a level the world has never seen when it hits desktop and Android.
Maximum freedom.
it's strategically genius once one thinks about it.
willing to bet that more people on the left have iphones than the right. who needs exposure to unbiased social media more desperately? and, if they let too many of us on to completely outnumber them they would just cry and leave without having learned anything.
we need them to LEARN. we need to save the ones who can be saved.
I was always android because I like to tweak and modify things. However, I saw Apple the lesser evil of Google and put my money where my mouth is and made the switch. Apple is trash but Google is rotten evil to the core.
Pedes keep you eye on news of the upcoming Tesla phone. I will gladly ditch Apple for Tesla.
I got the app notification on the 20th, Installed it and started the account creation process. On the 21st I was let in. My number in the queue at one point was around 93,000. The app works great.
There are volume issues with signing up, everyone is hitting it at the same time. I got the red error messages but I just tried again 3-5 times and got through every part of the initial setup.
Once in, the app is smooth and flawless. I haven't encountered any issues, hangs, slowness or anything.
Apples privacy clause makes windows seem reasonable in the amount of surveillance you'll be receiving. While we are on the subject....how many cameras does a phone need?!
I got given one, use it mainly for Amazon returns. (Yes, I hate buying from Bezos but sometimes there's no choice). When our victory is secure, there won't be any need to worry about them.
So you hate an American company, that sells hardware/software designed in America; but made elsewhere. A company that does NOT sell your private information, and in point of fact, states as part of their sales pitch; that your private information is not for sale, is not monitored, and is encrypted such that not even Apple can monitor your information.
However, Google, which makes Android, which does monitor your meta information, is given FREE to anyone who makes a cell phone, is monitored, your data is sold, your emails are scanned, your locations, purchases, texts and comments are gathered, sorted, and sold to anyone who wants it ... all all fine.
So, why do you hate Apple? Price point, the phones are comparable. Feature for feature, they are all comparable. Yet, so much Apple hate. Full fledged UNIX, vs less secure operating systems.
Apple is not "Open Source" and is more difficult to trust something that is not open source. Why not let the public see source code of OS? Because Apple has something to hide.
You are correct in that Google does all the tracking. However Android by itself is called AOSP (Android Open Source Project)...which is Open Source. Google's stuff on top of Android is what tracks you (Google Services dependent apps, etc)
Check out Rob Braxman on Odysee or Screwtube. He will educate you on the differences and how Apple is also tracking you.
Open Source means anyone and everyone can hack it. You want a security nightmare? Make your security system Open Source
Apple’s Secure Enclave is a HW/SW system that keeps your fingerprints and FaceID data encrypted on your phone.
There is a reason you have virus’s and malware on Android and not on iOS. There is a reason why each iteration of iPhone advances the internal security. You used to need to connect to the underside of the RAM on the iPhone’s motherboard to hack security. Now it’s been moved into the processor. Why? To protect the user.
Open Source simply means the bad guys do not even need to pretend, in order to get a copy
For most, it’s a tool and your use case isn’t my use case. For my use case; Apple works best. I work R&D and have used MSFT for decades, used Blackberry, Android, BeOS, every version of Windows and DOS. I have been in tech since the mid 70’s.
I chose Mac for home. I use Windows at work, and am quite familiar with both. It’s not a 1 size fits all.
Not even this is worth selling your soul to apple
Only difference between Apple and Google is that Google admittedly sells your information.
I can't disagree with you, I just can't let a chance to dump on apple go by.

Was going to say this exactly! Glad I read the comments first! I have an opinion of what the i stands for.....
Hello Lady,
Opposite situation here: iPhone 11 user in a country where TruthSocial is not available.

Aussies aren't invited to the party either lol.
I just beg our American Frens to warm the place up for this to be a jolly gathering when we get in! WWG1WGA!

Ahhahaha! Yeah, patience WW grasshoppers :)
Wise BQonita! https://imgflip.com/i/665k75
Same here
I switched from an iPhone to de-googled Android running LineageOS. One of the best decisions i've made on the tech side.
Love TGA with all my frens. Prob won't make a truth social acct for a while.

Everyone person I know who has an iPhone doesn’t have access yet. ☹️

Starlink is out now. Do you have one?
Android can be de-googled. Look up LineageOS or GrapheneOS which is used by the NSA.
That's exactly how I see apple vs screwggle.
The IPhone is why I can’t get in? I was wondering why. Effing IPhone….
I have yet to even get in- I’m still at like #155K - I haven’t moved at all. Going on a 14 hr traffic jam now
Signed up at 6 am EST yesterday. I’m still waiting.
I thought no one was in yet bc my number hadn’t moved….. people are in already?

I was at 92,626 last night - I was in this morning.
Gonna have to say, "no thanks."

Nice cup.
I've got one for work. It sucks, barely use it. Not recommended.

the details on the mug. adorable.
For some reason, I've never had the desire to own an iphone... Never appealed to me in any way at all...
