At this point I expect one of two things to happen.
A) I expect them to use the situation to justify cheating and hand wave away numbers.
B) I expect the Trump appointees to flip because they have done little to deserve any faith that they believe in states rights or anything good really in the grand scheme of things, and therefore cement in no uncertain terms that abortion is a basic human right and no states can ban it.
Next up: Pallets of bricks appearing "from out of nowhere" -- no witnesses, bills of lading, etc. Criminal Nutcase Nonsense will just happen to be on the scene when the first brick is tossed . . . YAWN. So very predictable. Time for white hats to put the hammer down.

Given the way this supposedly leaked ruling supposedly goes it's pretty obvious it is meant to whip up the party of perpetual outrage to try and apply pressure to get that ruling changed or delayed in some manner or galvanize a legislative or electoral response.

Exactly. When you have prominent African Americans coming out saying abortion is targeting them, it's a good sign that people of all races are waking up to one thing or another. The louder the abortion debate gets now, the more people will move away from the "pro-choice" side. If they riot, protest, and cause a stink, there will be an even greater push to end abortion. Like you said, it doesn't actually have the support they think. Why else steal elections? People are waking up to what abortion is, and why they are using it.
