I'm British, and I wish we had a 2A. We can have shotguns, but you can't exactly carry them around with you, although there is plenty of gun crime in the UK that you probably don't hear about, especially in a certain part of Manchester.
Can't really carry them in certain states in the US either. Hopefully we see a reversal of all this nonsense.

The problem for a tyrannical government is they and their family has to survive in the society they start policing.
It's not that a few men with guns vs the US government, feds or military wouldn't lose, they probably would.
But then those enforcers have to find some way for them and their families to survive once word gets out who they are and where they live. That is the real deterrent, looking over their shoulder just to go to the grocery store.
Dont cower in the hallway when they come knocking like the Russians did in Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's "The Gulag Archipelago". Force them to pay for their tyranny. Though it may cost you dearly, it wont take long for their drones to realize the price is too high and your life will pave the way to Liberty. Do this for your children and grandchildren. Since certain pills went generic it is easier for some to "stay hard". There is no lost irony that they are blue pills. Having to rent a uhaul to move your weekend linked belts for the minigun shoot kinda does the same thing though.
