I think the best way is not to hide info, or even attempt to block anything.
We need to go in the opposite direction. Overload with info and false gps locations.
That was an approach people took when deleting facebook, not just deleting the data, but taking some time to 'salt' the data with a bunch of fake and contradictory information.
Not quite sure how you could do the same with false GPS pings.

Thanks, I was not aware of that, looked it up and there's a git for a version of it. The one I looked at would only poison 1 post at a time, so, with a bit of work could effectively poison everything posted.
Data is literally their business I'd wager they know exactly what changes have been made to the account and when, something like a script changing it would be extremely easy to spot, especially if it's followed by not using the account anymore
You're probably right.
OTOH - They have such a massive pipeline of data, that it could only be AI analysis, that's going to be limited in being able to distinguish between 'real' and 'fake' edits.
If it does slip past, then the AI would later be scanning the salted data, and they would have had to thought to compare a post and its changes over time.
All guess work though... but again, you're probably right.
Even if they don't have access to your original data the likelihood of them having already sold it the moment you gave it to them I'd say is near 100%

One thing I know for sure, and this was early facebook, like before I ever signed up I would get emails saying "X is your friend, join up now" and then eventually I got one saying "Your friend X and your friend Y want you to join." The thing is that friend X and friend Y had no connection to each other in the slightest, which meant that they already were building my account before I ever gave them any info.
Which tends in your favor because, even if you poison your data, what others say about you will tend to 'fix' the discrepancies and you wouldn't even know it.

This is why I can't watch 98% of television - the acting (especially by the other female FBI chick) is so unbelievable and hokey.
Seems to me no matter how secure something is made, a subpoena / court order by nefarious actors pretending to be judges and pretending to care about our rights can still open all that data up.
That's just the "legal" way. We know they spy on everything illegally already. They aren't concerned with charging crimes, they just want to know everything for other nefarious uses.
The data is too valuable to secure. The engineers need the data to fix issues and improve the tech - all legitimate needs and uses. The companies need the data to reduce costs and improve market share and margins - also mostly legit.
The boardrooms and bean counters need the data to sell to other companies - invasion of privacy.
The DS needs the data to spy on the people and protect their criminal empires - evil.

What does matter is I've hung out with him, along with friends when I was a young man, going to raves in Florida. Anonymity relies on having many different data points all labeled identically. So for example, if your browser fingerprint is unique (it probably is unless you're using tor) then you can be tracked across sites by anyone who can grab your fingerprint on those sites (site operator, ad networks)

If starlink could establish a link with a cellphone, it wouldn't need a $1000 phased array antenna to facilitate the connection.
Cellphones do NOT have the capability of transmitting signals hundreds of miles away. That requires far more power and/or much higher performance antennas than exists in cellphones.
True, but you could call using wifi at home and work if you have starlink in those places.

What always gets me, is how one disguises a MAC Address... Because from what I believe I know, the MAC address is located in every single packet of data sent. And with MAC addresses being unique, this makes tracking always available. At least to the best of my knowledge. I could be wrong. So this is why I am throwing this out there. How does one cover a MAC address?
The "M" in MAC stands for Medium meaning the physical data wire running around your office or home or whatever. The term originates in times before Wi-Fi but you can say your wireless LAN is also similarly a Medium. The "I" in TCP/IP stands for Internet, and the only way from your Medium to the Internet is via a router.
You are correct that your MAC address is visible all over your Medium in every single packet of data as you rightly point out. Do you care though? There is probably no Dr. Evil tracking you in your own apartment. As soon as that packet needs to go the Internet then it's all different - the router sends it to the Internet but the MAC address is not needed any more (once it leaves your Medium) so the router drops it before sending.
TL;DR your MAC address may be visible very locally but not on the Internet.
Oh yeh and a lot of modern devices (Android phones for sure) will deliberately randomise your MAC address if you configure that in the settings. Not a whole lot of use but prevents public Wi-Fi from recognising you as "that same guy who was here last week."

I read up on it a bit. Seems the phone can be tracked but the sim information they give they might be changing each time, or something like that.
This makes me wonder why we need an FCC at all? Federal Communications Commission sounds like a way to control what people see and hear. Wonder what happens when humans raise their consciousness and are able to communicate telepathically?
