I don't want to rain on the parade, but this doesn't mean abortion has ended, just that states get the right to choose. Meanwhile, in CA, it looks like they are going to legalize infanticide. This IS a parade. This day is GODS. This is the lefts sacred cow and it has taken a HUGE blow today with many states that have trigger laws on the books for just this day. Now state representatives & lawmakers can't cower behind Roe as an excuse to not outlaw abortion. (Their biggest excuse coming from someone that works with EndAbortionNow.com pushing legislation nationwide)
Now we get to see "Life States" vs "Death States" and watch Gods curse lifted on one and compounded on the other. The difference will be night and day. Courage begets courage and action begets action. Other states will follow.

True but it does shine a light on the states that will continue to kill babies and remove the overarching "blessing" of the federal government including much of the funding mechanisms (I believe?).
You are correct. And even most of the liberals that I've talked to are dubious about the morality of this bill. The purpose of the bill is to stop women who abused their bodies while pregnant from being prosecuted if their babies die from something caused by their self-abuse (this bill is specifically targeted for drug addicts whose babies die of withdrawal). Maybe this will open the door to people re-evaluating their stance on where the line of life is drawn.
I was listening to a conservative radio host here in Detroit who had a lawyer on that explained that with Roe overturned, Michigan reverts back to the law as it was in 1972. That 1930s law makes abortion illegal. Abortion is now illegal in the State of Michigan and at least 26 other States. With a conservative legislature and Supreme Court in our State the demons will have a difficult time reinstating it.
But that's how it should be; if states want to make their own laws, the federal government can't over reach (and break the Constitution to do so) to force everyone to allow it.
Note that it's still not normal people getting these abortions, so those states are killing themselves, ultimately.
