That Depo Shot is notorious for failing. I wouldn't trust that thing for birth control. The failure rates on a lot of these methods is higher than advertised.

What you say is very true, but the number of DUI arrests and tragic accidents (that usually kill the innocent people involved, not the one under the influence) is proof that more and more people believe they’re entitled to do whatever feels good in the moment and they don’t consider the consequences, and if they do it’s to assure themselves the consequences don’t apply to them. The women “threatening” to quit having sex because Roe v Wade was overturned is a perfect example of this immature and entitled attitude - that they think this “threat” is somehow going to make us all feel sorry for them? We have an entire generation of two-year-olds walking around in grown up bodies, crying like babies and throwing massive temper tantrums when they don’t get what someone else tells them they want. That’s the real idiocy of the whole thing. They’re reacting to the inflamed speech of politicians and media mouthpieces who use them mercilessly to influence a narrative, and they really ARE so stupid that they don’t even know what they’re arguing about. There are kids in utero with horrendous problems that people still keep. It will cost a fortune to take care of them, and they'll never have any semblance of a comfortable life. What some people never think of is that if the kid even has consciousness that we know of, they may resent or even hate the people that brought them into this world.
So we should value some humans life more than others? Should we start ranking cognitive abilities or identifying weak gene pools and kill them off too? Should we start modifying dna so that they're no longer a "problem"? If so, I think the WEF is right up your ally.
If a kid resents their parents whether they have problems or not, it speaks more of the lack of societal (lacking love, empathy, and compassion) and parental support, more than anything else. Costing a fortune to take care of a special needs kid, is a societal and government failure to support its own people.
What kind of life will a kid with one leg, one arm, one kidney, a small heart, and an odd-shaped head with brain mass to match, have? Yeah, it's vanishingly small, but it would bankrupt the parents and cause them no end of heartache.
