Me too! At one time I thought that John Robinson was a perfect father figure....but in hindsight he was truly a dumb ass letting his son be bff's with Dr. Smith. As a side note Major West hit on me at a sci fi convention right in front of my husband. My adult brain was completely scrambled by that incident 😂

It was one of my favorites as a kid but think back on that show and what was taking place. You had John Robinson allowing pedo Dr. Smith and his young son cavorting all over unexplored planets while also allowing pedo Major West to "play" with his 16 year old daughter.
Judy was the daughter he was interested in, and she seemed to be at least 18. Penny? was the younger daughter.
