Your friendly neighbor HERO!
Absolutely! But what is a catstrap?
It’s like a dog strap only not as friendly or loyal.
Oh I thought it was like those stop sticks cops use to stop high speed chases. Lay one of those suckers under your car and let the thief slide themselves under the car and rip the shit out of their backs.
I’m guessing it attaches to the catalytic converter and helps prevent theft.
After mine was sawed out and stolen I got a squirrel cage put on the replacement. It messes with the vibration on the vehicle floor. It's more permanent than a cat-strap (catalytic converter strap) and harder to remove. But they remove both cat straps and cages, if they have the time. But $4,000 was my replacement all -in cost. Plus had to get it re-smgged. They also blew the SMOG port.
Wow. I'm sorry that happened to you. It's become an epidemic down here in Texas
fantastic
There’s a small village a few kilometers from here where they advertise their neighborhood cohesion, watch each other’s kids and notice unusual transit. That’s way more dissuasive than any « video surveillance » signs.👍🏻
When I was growing up that was the norm in most places. If kids were misbehaving they would be told off - no running to their parents; if they did they'd get the same response. Can't do it now, the parents would get stroppy. I tried to warn some kids to get out of a field because there were ground nesting skylarks and the farmer did not want his crop damaged - their mum went nuts. Different world, shame.
When someone annoys me or does something mean I pray for them. Works well, usually no repeats. Sometimes you have to do it more than once. Better than raising your blood pressure and cortisone levels.
If you have to do it more than once, isn't that because of a repeat?
Some devils require more than one exorcism.
This is the way
the ego of people have grown out of control for the average person……
Living in a small rural town. This describes the dirt road I live on. I am blessed.
Make Neighborhood Watches Great Again
good neighbor.... but needs a larger caliber!
Where I used to live, in Commiefornia, smart people would remove their catalytic converter and store it in the garage and replace it with a straight piece of exhaust pipe. Then when they had to get the Commiefornia mandated emissions test done, they would reinstall the catalytic converter for the test. Why go through the bother you ask? Because a catalytic converter can cost up to $1000, and it only takes a few minutes to take it out.
Some cost more than that.
A friend of mine lives outside Los Angeles in one of those garbage desert towns. He woke up at 4am to a knock on his door and it was his neighbor who said he'd just chased off a guy trying to steal his catalytic convertor and threw rocks at the guys truck. They laughed about it and went about their lives.
That night super late at night somebody in a similar truck rolled up and hurled two molotov cocktails at their front door. My friend got the fire put out pretty quickly with his extinguisher he keeps in the kitchen. From outside they heard all kinds of yelling. It turned out the dude was rushing so hard to get away that he flipped his truck in the swale outside the house. The driver broke his leg in the rollover and was pinned in the truck while my friend and his neighbor laughed as the cops showed up. He was an illegal in a stolen truck!
The guy got arrested, and they found a bunch of cats and the cutting tools. But, the dude wound up getting off and not being convicted. A few months later my friend came home from work and the house was burnt down, complete with his dog inside. Police never made an arrest and said they had no proof it was the same guy.
This makes me sad.
This really pisses me off.
Oh no, that's sad. When bad guys get off it only encourages them.
Fucking California.
California needs to be broken up into seperate states, it's not fair that California covers 90% of the west coast and the shit is run by dickhole democrats.
Yeah, well, that's the utopia they've built in CA for you.
That sucks.
I had a friend in So Ca that owned a classic VW van in very nice condition. One day he was sideswiped and the car that hit him continued to drive away. The entire side of the van was damaged. Because of the age of his vehicle, he knew there was no way his own insurance would pay for the damages. He managed to chase down the vehicle that hit him - it was being driven by an illegal. My friend was born in Mexico and was legally in the US. So he knew this guy didn't have a license or insurance. Understandably my friend was pissed and wanted to know who was going to pay for the damage on his van.
As the argument got more heated there was some physical contact. Some concerned citizen called the police. When the police arrived my friend thought for sure there would be some kind of justice. At least the illegal would be arrested for driving without a license, hit and run, and no insurance. He thought for sure the illegal's vehicle would be impounded - so even though it would not pay for the damage on his van, at least he could have the satisfaction that the guy wouldn't get to just walk away. Boy was he wrong. The police instead arrested my friend for assault and let the illegal go. He spent the weekend in jail. The charges were later dropped and he paid to have his van fixed.
No wonder these people come here. They know they can pretty much get away with murder and our system will not hold them accountable. It seems like a good time for frontier justice to be making a comeback.
they should have taken care of the problem and buried the remains in that desert.
Video! I want video of that!!!!
just imagine the theiving muther-monkypox-carrying-tailpipe-togunging-asshole's reaction..
I'm fresh out of .22 rounds. Will .223 work?
...and added 'sorry about the mess'....
Love it. Just yell out that the first shot was from your BB gun, the next will be from your 12ga.
Increase caliber next time
your neighbor is actually superman
Yeah, I'm for it, but this is highly illegal, especially to incriminate yourself via written evidence.
Ok Karen
Heads up, if you shoot me with a BB gun while I'm working on my exhaust at night, you will be killed.
Working on car exhaust at night, in the dark, in the middle of a neighborhood. Sounds totally normal.. Ok Karen.
I have found myself doing that a number of times, while carrying, for exactly this reason. This guy clearly doesn't know his neighbors and could have easily ended up dead. Good luck "Karen."
I'm sure you have, clown. I'm sure you have.
Spez: To clarify: You
2)carry "for the exact reason" to revenge murder someone that might possibly shoot you with a BB gun thinking you're stealing someone's converter while you're working on your exhaust at night in the dark on multiple occasions?
Damn bro, what kind of lazy made up strawman for-the-sake-of-being-right commie bullshit am I reading? You're as believable as David Hogg. 🙃
I work during the day, you retard. If I have to work on the cars it's at night. Yes, on multiple occasions I've worked on my exhaust in these conditions.
I carry while working on my car in the street because someone might do something stupid like shoot me, and yes. They will get shot back, bb or not.
Live in the dessert in the summer you faggot
I got the three criminals on video who stole the cat from my truck 2 monsth ago but their vehicle had lights on and the plate was blurred - cops said even they would not be able to make it out. But cops are supposed to have AMPAD 5 software to do that, am trying open source software. WIll take a while, but revenge is best served cold.
Buy this guy a beer!
Funniest thing I've read in days. BBs hurt, dawg.
Only certain states took part in the ban.
