Between that and having to test for the deadliest virus ever (financial reasons, too), I am putting off my total knee replacement. I'm grateful for my knee brace! It helps so much.
Dam straight! Got a medicial device I know is killing me quicker being kept in but its still slower then attending a hospital right now. And given my medicial history I know they'll try blaming that.
Asking my wife who had two removed at 15yo, the other two at the vid break out. Her mom says no, only remove if they are causing problems. The second set were causing my wife problems, so she had them removed at 49yo. It was a hole in her gums at one tooth that caused bad breath also the pressure forward misaligned her bottom front teeth a little.
Personally I’m on the fence about it, don’t spend the money if they’re not causing problems. It’s like “everyone” getting their dogs spayed, people getting antibiotics for ear issues instead of using olive oil and hydrogen peroxide. Everyone is automatic pilot.
I waited. At 26 were causing pain. Pulling involved breaking into pieces and pulling w vice grips because the roots were hooked under the jaw. 10/10 would not recommend
I have all mine and things are fine. I have a large enough jaw that they fit well in my mouth. Dentist suggested I remove them years ago. I opted against it as I would lose a lot of chewing real estate, I use them when I eat hard things like corn nuts too.
Right now I would probably hold off if they are not bothering you. I am guessing at some point down the line the will begin to, mine didn't until I was in my late 20s.
I never had mine removed, and I think I have three (?) that are "impacted" and otherwise formed. The two on the bottom jaw are sideways, inside the gums, pressing against the teeth in front of them. No problems, and I'm 61.
Not unless you are in pain or they are messing up the constellation of your teeth (pushing them out of the way, this making you appear British).
I had all of mine removed because there wasn't enough space for the lower ones so it hurt. The upper ones got holes in them eventually cause I couldn't properly clean them (only small part of tooth was out of the gum).
There's no harm in removing them, it's not that invasive of a surgery, but why pay for it if it's not needed.
Yes you should they may not be causing problems yet but they will. No need to have wisdom teeth. However due to all the BS within the health community and what not I would hold up on that for now unless you know your dentist well.
Don’t have ANY elective surgeries until this shitstorm passes. Hospitals are looking for excuses to put you on a ventilator and remdesivir.

If there isn't an active reason, don't do it. Believe me, your teeth themselves will tell you if they need coming out.

That sounds awful!
Lol. It was. They used an impact comparable to a .22 to shatter, then picked out the pieces. It was a long process and I was sore for awhile
Horrible!!!!
I used to occasionally get some soreness in them, but I left them. They haven't bothered me in many years now.
My mother died at 83 with her wisdom teeth— they didn’t cause any problems

don't do it ... i still have mine and i'm 72. it's just a money maker for an unscrupulous dr.

Depends on your age, I think.
Mine were pointed in the wrong direction on the bottom. Caused problems. I didn't let them take out the tops - they are fine and I'm old now.
If it's not causing you issues don't bother. I still have my wisdom teeth in tact

Had one removed that was impacted, caused pain in tooth in front of it, once gone pain in other tooth went bye bye

This belongs in General Chat.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You can get your wisdom teeth out at any time should they ever become a problem.
