"Ciavarella, 72, is serving a 28-year prison sentence in Kentucky. His projected release date is 2035.
Conahan, 70, was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison but was released to home confinement in 2020 — with six years left on his sentence — because of the coronavirus pandemic."
They actually had a class action lawsuit and won. They paid out on a point system that was based on how many days the juvenile was incarcerated. Each point or day they paid $1000 to the individual on the first round. $500 each day the second time and a tiny fraction of that the 3rd time. I dont remember why they paid out 3 different times.
My dumbass figured they would never win and didn't join the lawsuit until the the 3rd round of payments. If I would have joined the lawsuit from the beginning I would have been paid roughly $152,000. I ended up joining the lawsuit on the third round and got a check for $1800 lol.
I should add that the judges and probation officers were straight scumbags about it. They talked my mother out of getting a lawyer claiming it wouldn't help and that I would just be getting 90 days probation.
Instead when I went to court they stood about 10 of us all together in front of the judge Ciavarella. He then read our charges out loud (I got caught smoking weed), found us all guilty, and remanded us to detention center until an opening in bootcamp. Handcuffed, shackled, then put into a holding cell without being able to say a word.
add up all the years they sent the kids to prison and split it between the two. send the judges away. I can't help but wonder what us peasants would get for doing this. They must have made a bundle to be able to afford 200 million in fines. Maybe the Judge who sentenced the Judges should be investigated.
They admitted in the article that they won't be able to pay that back - I say take all they've got, tell their family to get jobs, and fit them for nooses.
Seems that the majority of US judges are so corrupt. I personally vote each county judge out of office every election year. You just can't find any information as to whether they are Constitutional judges or Soros judges. So I vote to oust each one out to make sure.

If ever there was a good reason for doxing someone, I would like to think that one of those kids, whose lives were ruined, might be able to pay that old fuck a visit,
It's good to see that justice was finally ordered, but far too long after the fact. Hopefully the estates of the guilty will be seized and divided among the surviving victims
When do they go to jail?

Thanks I didn't read down far enough. So judges that survive prison sentences? Hmmmm...
Disturbing. Both should be dead.
Talk about human trafficking
And the victims won't see a penny.

Im sitting here wondering WHERE THE FUCK does a JUDGE get 200 million?!?!?!?
The for profit prison lobby...?
Or taxpayers

I think cutting parts off would be better.
Thanks it is hard to read everything sometimes
I don't see remorse on those faces. How about a little prison time, eh?
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court threw out some 4,000 juvenile convictions involving more than 2,300 kids after the scheme was uncovered.
Looks like comms-filled article to me

Where are normal people supposed to go with this continuing outrage.
{Those that know can not sleep.}
And we are getting damn tired of it.
Money is great for the victims. Make the state pay for that. Kill these scum bags tho. Immediately.
This happened in my hometown. They made a documentary about it called Kids For Cash. These two bums destroyed so many families.
Goddamned black robed tyrant bastard British nobles. Fuck all of them.
One of the worst judicial scandals that ever got busted and is no comparison to the ones who got away.
This freaking state in the news again.
SMH.

Read my comment above. I was stupid, didn't join the lawsuit until the end and got a check for $1800. Worst experience of my life by far.
Now that I'm older it's crazy to think they threw 8 year old kids into facilities with men up to 24 years old.
