Would a world government be bad if they were just restricted to enforcing a US style constitution?

Obviously the thought of world governance brings up ideas of tyrants restricting liberties via socialism and communism. What if instead of these systems, a cooperative world government was in place whose only agreed upon role would be to strictly enforce a well written constitution, such as something like the US Constitution?
To me, the main problems would be voter fraud, a federal reserve type monetary system, big tech monopolies and also a sense of complacency amongst communities.
If by some magic (perhaps blockchain technologies) these problems could be fixed, I don't see how a world government, or a world constitution would be a bad thing.
I would love to know others thoughts about this
Won't work. All cultures and races are very different ...some tribal, some low-IQ, some who think only in hive-mind ways. The Constitution was made (as said by the Founders) for a Christian and moral people.
Following the 10 commandents is all you need. I think most people can do that.
God wouldn't have given them to us. If there was some sort of IQ requirement.
It does become a bit of a paradox of having a world government punishing countries that violate the sovereignty of the individual.
It would only work in cultures that believed in the rule of not doing undue harm to others. I think many cultures believe this at their core.

Restricted by What? soros has already told the UN. (World Gov.) that the 2nd Amendment IS the only thing keeping Him from burning the US. Constitution. So, NO!.
The restriction would be very well written law, being informed by the past 800 years from English common law to the US constitution. The difference being this would be worldwide rather than just the USA.
I think the USA has still held up incredibly well, despite the past......200 years of attacks and planning to erode the constitution!!!! I think it goes to show how well written that document was.

Personally speaking in my opinion at any rate. A World Government of one form or another is likely an inevitability. Granted I’m talking Centuries if not millennia down the line with the perquisite of continuing interconnectivity, intermingling and cultural exchanges brought on by further technological developments and increasing efficiency of vehicles and means of transport. Hell humanity may wipe ourselves out before then. But I digress.
Trying to force it through in modern day. Such a Government by its very nature will need to be brutal and authoritarian with a Security apparatus that would make Soviet Russia, and the CCP jealous. Too many cultural and political differences at the moment to mean such a Government would have the ability come to power peacefully or by popular consensus.
What form any proposed World Government would take I can’t rightly say. What I can say though. At this stage in the Game. A World Government is the absolutely last thing the world needs at this point in time.
Our constitution isn’t working now because of corruption how would a world government formatted the same way change anything?
It seems to me that USA and many western countries have gotten so bad because of unchecked voter fraud, and media/big tech monopolies covering it up. Also slowly eroding values via media and fostering a sense of hopelessness and complacency amongst communities.
If something like truth social style social media was around 50 years ago, the cabal would never have been able to get to the level they are, IMO.
Seems like you are caught up in the weeds go back to the constitution and understand why Americans fought for their independence in the first place… always go back to the roots and you will find clarity
A republic in which countries come together similar to how states in the US come together could theoretically work, but over time it would suffer from the same issues the US is currently facing, and those issues would be on a larger scale.
In that scenario a small city in China would have more say than the whole United States
My theoretical scenario would be that this world governments ONLY role would be to enforce the constitution. Countries would still elect their own leaders, but would be forced to adhere to this theoretical constitution.
I agree that separation of powers would work, in theory. It works with computer algorithms. The problem is people...
People can choose to ignore the rules.

It's hard enough to get even LOCAL officials to listen to us and to do the right thing. Imagine dealing with a GLOBAL government.
Smaller government is better and a hell of a lot safer. That's why the US Constitution actually describes a confederacy of STATE governments overseen by a SMALL (but not small enough, as we now know) federal government.
Small government is always better than big government.

Were is the need for a world government?
Right now, where is the need for any government? What do they take, what do they provide?
The problem is corruption, lust for money and power - would a world goverment provide for that?
Global government has one big problem: people can't leave. A binding, global govt deprives 8 billion people of the right to seek refuge if/when that govt becomes abusive.
Yes indeed, a constitution is an agreed upon contract. There would have to be clauses for violating the contract, and severe penalties.
If the enforcers of the contract/constitution were all corrupted, then a 'well armed populace' would be the only way to declare it null and void. Easy to understand why the cabal has worked for so long to disarm the world.
Great topic, but as others said, cultures are very different in different parts of the world. American values are very different than Chinese values, Japanese values, Middle Eastern values, so on and so forth
You could have the world adopt, lets say a Constitutional Republic for example, that all countries would coincide/agree with one other. But you'd still need each country to be in control of themselves.
Call it a modern day 10 Commandments or Bill of Rights. A core foundation of rule and law everyone goes by.
Even so, that can be very tricky to implement, and every culture around the world has many differences.

You're watching how State's rights have been subverted by a tyrannical federal gov't and how oppressive and terrible it is, clearly visible. On a larger global scale it would be 100x worse....we're already getting a glimpse at that too. Your idea is anti-American to the core, and all throughout.
A very good point. Much of the rot in America has come directly from the federal government. I would argue that much of that has come from laws being passed well outside the scope of the constitution.
