Wizard of Oz was ruined when the whiz came out.
Haha remember that?
...howls...
...I see what you did there,,,,

...Quincy Jones wrote the soundtrack for this if my memory serves....
The WoO movie was already woked.
In the original, the slippers were silver, because silver protects us from the yellow brick road (gold), and the mind virus that is the green paper (fiat) and lies coming from the hypnotists (politicians).
But silver became red.
technicolor woke
,,,sadly true....
Did you know that the Wizard of Oz story is a metaphor for gold ownership (following the yellow brick road) and how fiat currency (the emerald city) is manipulated by Jewish bankers (the wizard behind the curtain)?
The people that Dorthy the farmer's daughter meets on her adventure all represent real people. I can't recall the story well enough to name them, but I remember that Rockefeller family are represented by someone.
Similarly, were you aware that Pinocchio is about lying Jews with big noses who ignore the moral guidance of Jesus Christ (Jiminy Cricket). The joke about sinful people having big noses is... self explanatory. This is the artwork on the original 1883 publication of The Adventures of Pinocchio. Note he is wearing a traditional Jewish hat.
The hell. I love this place.
And he's a 'puppet' to boot, but wants to be seen as 'real'. Speaks to the desire for power.
GA is amazing. Always something new to learn, or a different perspective, or just a good laugh to relieve the stress and headache of the world right now.
So many layers. Can you imagine all of us working together? Look at Trump - they don't know what to do with just ONE of us, let alone all of us. A storm is coming indeed. It's us. It's knowledge, truth, and ideology. You can't fight ideas with bullets.
The Adventures of Pinocchio (1883) has a lot of interesting metaphors and political commentary in it.
Most people have no idea that in the original story, Pinnochio starts of as a horrible little prick who attacks Geppetto before he's even finished carving him out of wood. 'Keeps trying to kick his maker.
Pinnochio later kills Jiminy Cricket (Jesus Christ) with a hammer. Does that remind you of anything?
There's even a Epstein Island style place named Pleasure Island where children go and never return and are transformed into donkeys, which was a euphemism for sex slave in the 1800s.
The story does have a happy ending when Pinnochio abandons a life of sin and greed and materialism and uses his money to help others (he essentially converts to Christianity and is saved).
I lived 70 years without even considering that, and I disagree with the idea that the Emerald City represents fiat currency or that the Wizard represents Jewish bankers, although it is true that there was a terrible financial crisis in 1893 which Baum no doubt remembered in 1899 when The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was published, and the whole book is about reality not being what people think it is. When confronted, the Wizard admits he's a humbug, but he solves the companions' problems like magic anyway--the solution was always in themselves, they just needed faith. The Wizard is willing to leave in shame, hardly the scheming cabal figure, but because of his essential honesty and helpfulness, all is eventually forgiven and he becomes the third most powerful magician in Oz. Glenda the Good is something of a deus ex machina in this and later books. Her story is never told, but time and again she tips the action toward success when everything looks hopeless. The Emerald City is a splendid construction but suffering a power vacuum because the rightful leader is gone, due to the machinations of various malevolent witches. There is eventually a little revolution led by Jinjur, no doubt inspired by the suffragettes. In fact, the villainy in Oz is rather more dominated by women than bankers. Finance is never a problem in Oz, where food grows on bushes, but even without food no one dies. There is no more money than there is sex. No one needs anything. The trouble makers in this world are wild animals, a very few essentially evil beings, mostly rogue witches. In two later books, the Gnomes appear, who might be a better analogy to bankers as they are fixated on precious gems and metals (but destroyed by eggs). Normally Oz is protected from them by the Deadly Desert, but like Uncle Scrooge's nemesis the Beagle Boys, the Gnomes plot constantly to conquer the Emerald City. They wouldn't do that if it was worthless fiat currency, it's the real deal. Basically Greed is the root evil in Oz.
The author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz disagrees with you about what his story represents.
And after 70 years, it's time to learn about paragraphs.
Perhaps you could provide a direct quote from Baum. The story that Baum was allegorizing economic theories of the 1890s came from a man named Littlefield.

And it can be true that, as a satirist, all current topics of his day were grist to Baum's mill. That is the point of most satire. But these conclusions were drawn by others and are not necessary to enjoy the books now. The enduring entertainment value and moral lessons of the stories is what gives them value as literature, not what others have speculated about the author's economic opinions. And if you want to speculate about what Baum thought, nowadays the hot topic would be his racism. That's all the time or paragraphs I have to give you, H. M. Professor, TE.
I have ALL the Oz books (and related areas around Oz) by all the original authors, and you could not find a word or hint or implication about sex or gender in the whole lot. Obviously a ripe area to pollute. BTW, the ones by Baum have a lot of commentary and under the radar satire besides his opinions about gold ( and I'm not totally convinced that the prevailing idea of it being a major theme is true). Mostly this is in characterization, for instance H.M. Wogglebug, T.E. is an ongoing spoof of intellectuals who are very proud of their attainments. He's a big bug, slang of the time for an important person, and that's just what he is, a big bug.
My third grade teacher introduced our class to Baum Oz books and I have never forgotten the wonderful character depicted in those stories....
I did not appreciate Baum at first. His books were still newish when my father was a child, and when my father passed along his precious books, Ruth Plumly Thompson had taken over his history of Oz and was embellishing it, so she was my Oz. She was a very witty writer, lots of puns, good story development, but eventually I realized what a great job Baum did with what had been a casual story.
Have you forgotten that Ozma of Oz was a boy named Tip when we first met her? Ozma was disguised in the body of the boy for her own protection. The boy Tip remembered nothing of his original gender. Tip had to agree to be turned back into a girl, so he/she could become Princess Ozma.
Have you forgotten that in almost every book someone has been changed from their original form and part of the story is to change them back? For instance, in *The Gnome King," Ozma and all her household have been changed into ornaments. In Rinkitink in Oz, Bill the goat is a prince. It's called a plot gimmick. Tip the HUMAN boy is disguising Ozma the FAIRY princess, it has nothing to do with her sexual identity or preferences, and the whole LGBTQ movement of today is all and only about who screws whom and how.
gee mr wizard, i wish i was cured of my monkeypox

Scarecrow had no dick.
...I always thought the tin woodsman was a little light in the loafers.,..
That's because he was scared. Scared Crow.
He did have a gun though!

Wow, so Baum had an opinion gold & silver too!
...it is a rabbit hole worth sniffing into....
That is a novel I want to read. I hope Rhett Butler assists President Trump is restoring the USA's plundered gold.
...I shudder to think what would be done to GWTW....
So after the emancipation is declared, a bunch of local BLM chapter take over Scarletts estate. But no matter what they do the estate keeps going downhill and everything falling apart.
Scarlett does a lot of self reflection and realises these failures of the BLM is really her fault. So she comes back to the estate and start working for free to help the newly liberated BLM succeed.
The harder she works the less the BLM works, until she is running the whole estate herself. She even emotionally blackmails her fiance and all her friends into coming and helping her.
After they all slave away day and night while the BLM is sitting on the front porch lighting fires, the estate starts having a turn around. One of the BLM overhears Scarlett's friend saying a prayer to the God "Dear God, we can only work so hard. Please show the BLM the way and make them work as well".
Hearing this, that BLM gets so triggered a tribal council is convened and they all agree that the success by the whites is indeed an abomination as its negatively impacting the morale of the BLM. So they are all executed.
After that they all starve happily ever after.
The End.
...howls....
..."frankly my dear, the BLM don't give a damn"....
...I love a "happy" ending...
I'm more interested in the Pink Floyd sync to this movie. Some guy told me about this and one of these days I'm going to try it. Apparently if you start the movie and play Dark Side of the Moon while muting the movie track, there are eerie coincidences between the music and the movie. What the hell, it's a way to pass the time.
...don't forget to drop some blotter....
...you start it when Dorthy arrives in Oz and the movie goes color....
...while you are at it, play Echoes at 45 RPM
So, when does white flamboyant Kunta Kinte get his/her remake?
...howls...
...very astute question Weed Hopper...
...about the time of a Soylent Green redux if I would venture a guess...
This better wake up the rest of the ones asleep. I’m sick of them ruining all the classics!
It’ll surely be a flop.
To the tune of: if I only had a brain
I could show my lack of boobies,
Convincin' all the newbies,
To join my trans-man palace,
And my ballsack I'd be a scratchin',
While my groomer-plans are hatchin',
If I only had a phallus.
Random Offspring intermission (Let me tell you about my other friend now)
I'd unravel ev'ry gender,
And pay in legal tender,
To change my name to Alice,
Your vagina could be 'neo',
If you take a trip to Rio,
To surgically remove your phallus.
...well played...
...very well played indeed....

Lol, thanks. Was a slooooow night.
..."talent on loan from GOD"....
I think that is one movie that should not be remade, woke or not. They are not going to do any better than they did in 39. Evin with modern special effects, I don't think can top what they did with 30's technology.
Didn't they already do this like back in the 70's or something?
...ease on down...
...ease on down...
...ease on down the road....
Hopefully some one will realize what a waste of time and money this will be.
I am surprised anyone funded it, ESP Warner. Even though h-wood is woke, the money guys aren't known for wanting to fund 'direct t o DVD' bombs.
Read "Web of Debt" for a good analysis of what the original Oz works were about
So... is this like some sort of new porn movie? How do you make a story lacking any romance LGBTQ ?
You of course know that has never stopped them. I guess “we represent the Lollipop Guild” will mean something entirely different. Bunch of sicko pervs.
Maybe: dorthy to be a tranny, the lion to be gay and bashful constantly saying "oh stop it silly", and the tinman to have a dildo on the top of his head.
...just ask the NEA to write the script....
Ignore them. Boycott and see them lose money. Where they go woke they can go broke.
Hear, HEAR!!!!
Thanks.
Lemme just leave this gem right here.

Yes!! Keep pushing the wokeness. It only makes people wake up more.
The Oompa-Loompas were pretty good representation already tbh
...precisely...
Sooner or later these muppets will run out of money, or do a u-turn in order to start earning money again....
...I don't believe money is the prime motivator in all of this nonsense...
Does this mean that the Scarecrow is going to be "lubricating" the Tin Man?
...makes you wonder what was in that little oil can.....
Wizard of Oz already has half-breeds Lion-Human, Straw-Human, Tin-Human and a bunch of munchkins. Maybe they'll introduce beastiality in the remake..and they'll even include Toto too.
No loss there. Wizard of Oz is a perfectly dreadful movie. Put all the freaks in the movie, it'll just suck more.
Fruits have always loved that show.
I'm convinced the munchkins symbolize pedophilia, I'm just not sure how, lol.
The munchkins actually symbolize the "little people;" the powerless peasants who live in fear of the tyrant Oz.
What, no beastiality? C'mon man, what are you, a junkie?
...you missed your calling as a story runner...
...doggy winks....
...canines are very intuitive....
...howls...
...wags tail enthusiastically ...
