Please please censor me more daddy
From this you can infer that they are scanning everything you upload and classifying it.
1st place prize goes to this guy ^
"Respecting privacy" has jumped ALL THE WAY OUT THE WINDOW for a long while now.
Thankfully that knife edge cuts both ways. [We have it all]
It's as if everything he said about Jews was right
He knows the nose!
Will they try this with external harddrives next? Cell phones? This must be exterminated
They're trying to get everyone on highspeed Internet and all their files stored in the cloud.
If they had their way, everybody would be on thin terminals and have the bare minimum local storage needed to pull off required tasks.
Local storage would no longer be a thing. Meanwhile, you can buy used 10TB drives on eBay for as low as $99 if you shop around.
I'm gonna have a lot of cloud babies because I've been screaming fuck the cloud since I first heard what it was! I will NEVER use someone else's computer to save my shit!
You lose your supposed rights against search and seizure when you store your stuff on someone else's computer.
Oooh now that's a good point! I will add this to my list of reasons to not use that bs
Hard to find a decent cell phone that still has a SD card for that reason.
Note 9 master race
no surprise there. if you have to use google drive: encrypt the file using gpg then share the file and the password.
This is the correct answer - not sure if GPG is applicable here since you’d need two sets of keys but encryption or simply zipping should fool their algo.
I wonder exactly what kind of scanning they're doing on this. Is it merely a file size, checksum sort of thing where they are looking for exact matches to known videos, or are they actively scanning the video with audio and/or video comparison tools. Now that I type it, probably the latter.
I was wondering if simply encoding the video to another size would bypass the censorship - probably not as platforms like Twitch already scan audio to perform DMCA takedowns of even background music used in streams.
Encryption / Compression it is.
Since Google owns Youtube they're probably using their Youtube tools. I would imagine they can scan the audio to generate a signature. Sort of how Shazam works. They're definitely analyzing the audio/video versus doing a file size checksum.
The over correction they are making to censor this guy pretty much proves everything he has said about them.
What is even in the interview? I don't have 3 hours plus to watch it. Maybe a timestamp for what makes it hate speech according to Google?
Archive offline, anon.
…very chilling though
Anyone have an archive of it? Haven't watched yet

shouldnt be storing anything in the cloud or online, they do block and remove it.
noticed they're also trolling discord and deleting old coversations, anything you want to save needs to be stored locally on an external hdd. SD and SSD drives lose memory over time if not powered up.
Can DVDs and hard drives lose data like that?
I had a video I purchased on my phone by 3 doors down titled 'When I'm Gone'. Very patriotic filmed on a US Navy ship. Had it a couple years, and then suddenly the video was changed to their non-patriotic version. I was pissed. They manipulate us in every way possible.
aaaaand this is why i dont use google
