Thanks for posting this. I’ve been using some thing with sticky on it. These went to particular are awesome, but I think I’m gonna get a different type. But thank you for posting I greatly appreciate it.
I was looking at the ones that slide. That way I don’t have to take it on and put it back off I can just slide it over. I found something that has ocean animals on it. At Amazon but I haven’t ordered yet. I’ll let you know.
If you're important enough to the government and they wanna track you/ poison you the decoding factor of if they are able to or not isn't gonna be of you have telegram installed in your phone or not lol
We all carry around devices made in Communist China, devices with hardware that could literally be anything, hardware we don't understand whatsoever, that's updated yearly, but of we have a certain app downloaded or not that's how they're gonna catch us?
Primarily, the fact that the CCP cannot surveil us using the hardware alone. Installing CCP-backed apps like Telegram or TikTok is required before they can track & monitor a phone in real-time.
You can get pretty close to degoogling your phone on Android. GrapheneOS for one example does not allow any Google processes to run and when you use something from the Play store, it runs it sandboxed with no special permissions given to them.
But, a lot of people don't want to go through that hassle, or if they play mobile games don't want to deal with the performance hit or potential compatibility issues that may inconvenience them.
What this method does: Remove Google telemetries from your phone
What this method does not: Remove telecommunications telemetries. So, the government can still track you through that aspect.
If you want to have a phone, you're going to be tracked in some fashion. But I guess if you're so inclined, it's probably better to fight the government on a Constitutional basis rather than fighting the "muh private company terms of service" BS.
Quick edit: There are also ways permanently prevent apps from tracking you, but I'm not big on sandboxing apps on Android. I don't care so I never went down that road directly. There are more problems than being tracked and it's as inescapable as it is inexcusable.
This is not true. Lots of hardware tracking options in phones as well. In fact, so many people own phones that you can be tracked by those close to you. You can be heard without a battery. The only safety is ABSTINENCE. Any other advice of avoiding tracking is foolishness. 1984 has been here awhile pedes.
Agreed! Smart TV, Smart Oven, Smart Washer, Cars, credit/debit cards, buying online, google maps, etc.
They have satellite technology that can look at the land and see what was there thousands of years ago. I’ve seen several videos on this. They have found Viking sites, the site of a lighthouse in Ancient Greece. Unless you are living in a cave or underground they know where you are.
Look at the cameras in stores, streets and probably at many businesses.
Oh No!!!! Our phones can now be tracked! What new magical technology has been unleashed?
Unless you want to go live with the Amish, digital tracking is here to stay. There are dozens of ways for them to track you. I'm not going to worry about it while there are far more serious violations of our rights happening.
Except the Amish part. They are as well. A lot of pedes here have been tracked since birth, before we were all attached to phones. Many, many moons ago. Bottom line, there's no getting around it.
But with the new Telegram discussion, I've seen a lot of people thinking an app alone is the sole tracker. My aim was to dispel the rumors and tell people that the hardware itself can be tracked (as well as anything Google related.)
Wait until you see what they can do with your friends phone across the table, or the liberal guy's phone in the same coffee shop as you.
There are also plenty of ways to cover your tracks online. Just depends how far you want to go. It's a trade off between privacy and convenience. There is also a learning curve and is more difficult if you are not tech savvy.
You don't need to have GPS to be tracked through your phone.
Rest assured, world governments have ensured that fleeing will never really be an option unless you're from a shit hole country that brings a lot of crime to a country they want to slowly destroy.
The article goes into great detail about how the government officials go to the womens' homes to get the packaging from their phones in order to obtain the information they need to track them.
So maybe....destroy the packaging and papers and such you get with the phone before you try to flee the country?
You can't run from tyranny. This is the nation people escaped to when fleeing tyranny. That was never an option for us. This is as far as the bastards are going.
I am of the opinion that because Phillips knows far more about the subject matter than any of us, and he has warned us about these specific apps, there must be more to the threat than your usual data collection.
Gregg also whines about his "haters" (his words, not mine) on his Truth posts. If you're on Telegram, you can find groups where people have pointed out questionable things about Gregg's money trail.
Now I'm not accusing the guy of any wrong doing, but I find it very strange that he make claims about Telgram and is such a drama llama over the entire ordeal.
This is a red flag to me that more digging on this guy needs to happen. I can dig on Trump all day and the guy is clean. If Gregg is innocent, he should be fine.
I follow him closely, and think he's totally justified in how he deals with 'haters.'
Nothing wrong with digging & coming to your own conclusions, fren. I'm all ears if anyone finds reason to distrust Phillips. Until then I see him as a solid patriot warning others of a hidden threat.
The same person who is warning people to stay off of an app, is the same person who is being investigated by anons in said app. You don't think this is a conflict of interest?
Let me know when those 'investigations' on Telegram find something.
Until then, I will assume they are not investigations but rather smear attempts at a true patriot who is over the target. There are a metric ton of shills / bots on TG - I'm sure you won't deny that.
I do too, but he should call it out with more than "trust me bro". Gregg simply is not anon, he's got his fight and took up an identity and a target. Our fight is not the same, we are anon and everywhere so that no frens are standing alone and no battlefield is ever uncontested. Not afraid, not moving. We are the antidote to all of their poisons.
Yeah, dunno. What I do know is that Brian Cates is the only one among the telegram anon/influencer peeps connected to the Pit, etc, that actually leapt off telegram.
If telegram was actually compromised to the extent that hundreds or thousands or millions of freedom fighters were in danger, he absolutely shoulda made the info more available and transparent. In my (limited) view.
As for Cates, he ditched his telegram account, then found out he couldn't get it reinstated (as of yet) and he has a few admins overlooking and managing the still operating channel and related chat group!
All phone are tracking devices. Anything that's "smart" is. Perplexing.
well even dumb phones can be used as trackers, it is more difficult to use them to spy on you through activating microphones and cameras though..
Jokes on them i broke the mic and cam ribbon connector. $1900 smart phone now only good for POSTING MEMES
Frens, try these out. I put them on my phones and laptops. They work great and give me a layer of privacy back.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been using some thing with sticky on it. These went to particular are awesome, but I think I’m gonna get a different type. But thank you for posting I greatly appreciate it.
Let me know what you end up using. These are really good quality, but I wish they were a little cheaper.
I was looking at the ones that slide. That way I don’t have to take it on and put it back off I can just slide it over. I found something that has ocean animals on it. At Amazon but I haven’t ordered yet. I’ll let you know.
Likewise
Call me old school, but I just put a tiny piece of tape...
True, but depending on what tape it is, the tack can get on the lens or if it's clear tape, it csn still make out the shapes but not fine details.
I have to take pictures with my phone, so I had to find something that I could remove and put back on afterwards.
It kind of sucks, but I actually feel privacy again because my ads aren't focused on items the camera sees out of the front and back lenses.
sounds like a gat trick to me!
If you have an Android, use the "sensors off" button.

Most valuable tip of the day
Theybhave to connect to a cell tower. .
Exactly.
It is that simple.
True but not everyone has access to it,maybe China and the Saudis need something like telegram...
The article literally says they dont. Wtf dude.
Don't trust clowns who right articles.
And thanks for the downvote.
You sure it's not because you're blindly following a narrative?
It’s because you can’t spell.
Yea, I was wondering if there was a connection there, but I would rather let the community call this guy out.
Everytime he tries to wake up, he keeps hitting the snooze button. At least he's tryin' though.
I'm over the target I see,shill attacks.
🤨

It's just silly...
This POV ignores a ton of nuance.
Primarily, the fact that the CCP cannot surveil us using the hardware alone. Installing CCP-backed apps like Telegram or TikTok is required before they can track & monitor a phone in real-time.
Or Google, or any of its services which you cant turn off.
Do a dig on Google's "SensorVault Database".
They can pull data on all the cellphones in a given location for the past decade.
Republicans were questioning it, then Democrats started once Roe v Wade was overturned.
And if you use Apple, well you're really screwed.

I really like your post, but if people wont even bother reading an article for their own good, I doubt they are going look at GrapheneOS. 😟
That's ok though. One thing I've learned about this community is there are a lot of tech pedes floating around here, and we'll enjoy it.
This is not true. Lots of hardware tracking options in phones as well. In fact, so many people own phones that you can be tracked by those close to you. You can be heard without a battery. If your fleeing a country never keep your GPS tracked phone. Wtf. People gotta realize they don't need a phone.
You don't need to have GPS to be tracked through your phone.

or keep in a faraday bag
Again, folks need to be listening to Rob Braxman. He explains all of this and I watched him even become a phone manufacturer just to solve it.
I've always found southerners to be interesting.
TELEGRAM4LYF
some people will refuse to listen to the truth no matter how much you try to explain it to them.

Do u gotta ditch the phone?
Toss your phone in a garbage truck going in thw opposite direction like Tom Hanks' character in The DaVinci Code.
😂😂😂😂

So maybe....destroy the packaging and papers and such you get with the phone before you try to flee the country?
Seems like a pretty simple step.
With this logic, you should be able to remove the label with your MAC address on it, and no one will be able to find you.
It makes me wonder why the author spent so much article space discussing it.
I have no idea of the accuracy of what they claim, I am not a techie type person.
You can't run from tyranny. This is the nation people escaped to when fleeing tyranny. That was never an option for us. This is as far as the bastards are going.

Nice! Love the old poster!
Has it been confirmed that IMEI tracking is the specific threat Gregg Phillips was referring to?
Could it be that is the least of the concerns, when it comes to apps like TikTok or Telegram?
To my knowledge, he hasn't directly said what the issue is.
However, it's important to note that foreign governments have always had tracking capabilities through the phones hardware itself, for decades.
Just read the article. It would probably be beneficial as a community to do a deep dig on the tech these governments use.
I am of the opinion that because Phillips knows far more about the subject matter than any of us, and he has warned us about these specific apps, there must be more to the threat than your usual data collection.
Trust the experts?
Gregg also whines about his "haters" (his words, not mine) on his Truth posts. If you're on Telegram, you can find groups where people have pointed out questionable things about Gregg's money trail.

If it's not a conflict of interest, shouldn't other people in the movement, and people outside the movement be warning us of Telegram as well?
I do too, but he should call it out with more than "trust me bro". Gregg simply is not anon, he's got his fight and took up an identity and a target. Our fight is not the same, we are anon and everywhere so that no frens are standing alone and no battlefield is ever uncontested. Not afraid, not moving. We are the antidote to all of their poisons.
Smart thinking
I think the real question is, who was he actualling warning about telegram.
Was it really 'us', or was it specifically people he was working with?
Then why be public?
Yeah, dunno. What I do know is that Brian Cates is the only one among the telegram anon/influencer peeps connected to the Pit, etc, that actually leapt off telegram.

I do not carry a cellphone/tracking device. People would be wise to quit using them.
