I've read the line about a hundred times and it just now occurred to me that I've seen plenty of crappy movies with great actors as well. This current one needs some serious time in the editing room as it's really dragging. I see a lot of story arcs in the air and I have no idea where any of them are leading and there doesn't seem to be any urgency to the pacing. I assume the military is supposed to ride in to the rescue at some point? Or is "the military is the only way" disinformation? I really don't know where this is going, but I know there is a lot of suffering in the meantime.
