He isn't the first to suggest US acquiring Greenland.
Since 1867, the United States has considered, or made, several proposals to purchase the island of Greenland from Denmark, as it did with the Danish West Indies in 1917. While Greenland remains an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, a 1951 treaty gives the United States much control over an island it once partially claimed from exploration.
Way back when... Thule was known for decades within the Navy as one of the shittiest places you could get stationed. Nothing there. The weather sucks. Literally one bar/pub in town.
This was in the late 80s. I'm sure things have changed since then.
Day-um. This is really, really good. Info all based on whistleblowers... plus the HB laptop from hell.
Awesome. The map IS a nice touch... but what is in Greenland?
Trump was interested in Greenland at one point. Hmmm.
I saw some intriguing pics before that lined up Mars pathfinder pics to actually coming from greenland
This ^^^^^
“Plant the US flag on the surface of Mars”... uh-hem, Greenland?...
Yeah I recall him saying maybe we should buy Greenland from Denmark.
Media blasted him as a “stupid idea”. But it put spot light on Greenland and arctic issues

Some people treat it as another Area 51.
They are also heavily involved in any of the secret space program theories.
Even moreso than the middle of the desert, Greenland is a spectacular place to do secret research.
Interesting that the Air Force and FBI (iirc) busted some guy over Area 51 stuff recently.
I've heard it also doubles as a summer GTMO. Bigger and better than Alcatraz.
More like Project Iceworm. I highly doubt they just abandoned the project. I suspect it was moved to a deterrent location.
Project Iceworm?
I was thinking about Iceworm myself.

Day-um indeed!
I heard a rumor there's another gitmo there.
I heard the same thing on Voat/Qrv a few years ago.
Monkeywerx went into that a few times.
