Reading the comments, initially I laughed and then got mad. People were/are idiotic for ever believing any of this shit. The one-way decals at the grocery store did it for me. I purposefully went the wrong way.
In some cities, the drivers have really poor tolerance for things that irritate them, and poor impulse control. You might get yourself/passengers shot or forced into an accident by doing that.
That’s just dumb. Let them pass you. Slow down when they pass to shorten the length of time it takes. You don’t know if they have someone bleeding to death in the backseat.
Happened to me last week. I was going 45 in a 35, went around the bend where another community begins and 25 mph speed trap. Police sitting there! Put on my brakes and got to 25 mph prior to entering the city. Cop pulled out behind me and I thought he was going to ticket me for the other community. I slowed to 22-25 mph just to annoy him. Stopped full stop and looked both directions twice before proceeding. He went another direction then. I guess they think we are stupid and can’t see in our rear view mirror! But the response to real crime takes forever. Ticketing speeders is definitely safer!
when they pull up behind me at stoplights with the boom boom boom noise that rattles ones soul I pause when the light changes to green then I go really slow. I hate that shit.
If they're obvious and rude about it, yes - I do stall and then smile and say "pardon me" as I walk on. I generally take our 5-year-old along and she is the source for most of the hold-ups as she throws everything under the sun we don't need into the cart, so I am constantly stalling to put things back. Unicorn cakes, magic straw bowls, dog toys (we don't have a dog), miscellaneous kitchen utensils...
The ONLY sign drivers cannot read is "Slower Traffic Keep Right."
Every Karen out there trying to make everyone go the speed they want is the number one cause for issues on highways. They are the ones that back up and compress traffic making the roads much more dangerous.
Go whatever speed you want, but stay in the right lane unless you are passing. Simple.
Despite all of Germany's issues, they figured this out long ago with their autobahn. Everyone gets right because there might be an 80 mph difference between lanes. It's intense, but holy shit do people understand "slower traffic keep right."
The worst ones are the ones that just want to go slow every time gas prices jump.
I don't care if you want to go a little under the speed limit on the freeway but don't be in the number one lane doing 55mph when the speed limit is 70mph.
Move the hell over unless you are passing someone.
I followed the arrows as long as it was the direction I normally went, but the store I frequented always had the dairy aisle in the opposite direction I walked, so it was wrong way for me :)
I did the same, one way…well I was only going one way! And I NEVER listened to the "6 feet apart" bullshit either. The amount of retards that went along with this is scary.

Me too, lol. Do you also slow down when someone tries to get you to speed up?
I do.... tailgate me all you want, I'll slow right down.
That's actually the recommended response, because now you are braking for two in case of hazards appearing ahead.
I slow down until they get fed up and go to pass me, and then I speed up.

Your a monster.

And oh so much more profitable, too.
That's because they are policy enforcement officers. Even the supreme court said they aren't there to protect you.

Comparing those 2 things is pretty silly.
i just hope you're not in the passing lane when you do that.

Drive right. (Literally and figuratively)
Pass left.
So simple a 5th grader can explain it

Obviously, I was referencing a certain personality trait.
They're still on the sidewalks in my neck o' the urban woods. I tear 'em off when I am there with a few spare moments.

I was too busy concentrating on shopping to pay any attention to what was on the floor. Seriously, you want me to multi-task or something???
