I've posted more recently and it's because I have the time to do so.
If some members post as if it were a full-time job, it may be because they are successfully retired and have the interest and ability to put forth their thoughts to share. Without those people, there wouldn't be much to read on the board!
But, I haven't really noticed anything that others post that I find 'proselytizing' other than the religious/Christian ones which are not a bother to anyone, in my opinion.
Please skip over those you don't have an interest in. Free speech and all...
I wish it was a little easier to see if something has already been posted (search doesn't always work very well) to avoid repeating a topic, and that the titles / topics were a little more descriptive. Sometimes I open 3 threads and find they are all virtually the same thing. I know that's on the posters, so I'm not sure how to improve it.
Working FT and having other responsibilities doesn't allow a lot of time on the board.
Is there any way to have a popup appear when hovering over a title to see what's been posted without opening the post, like some boards have?
if ashland works for the bee that is fine, they only pay him in kibble and I do not think enough dogs work for them to like unionize and demand actual money. So if he shills for them here..i mean a dog's gotta eat, who are we to judge?
Yes, this place is a honey pot, of course and why certainly. Ask yourself why this place is allowed to exist when all others similar to it were extincted.
All manner of bad actors wander through, from Enemy deep state actors to simple nazis and other lesser terrorists, and of course foreign actors whether china or Ukrainian. And they use AI and bots as well as paid redditors and such.
This war is real, 'you' are the carbon they want to reduce and they stalk you here, same as they stalk you everywhere. Use a VPN and don't dox yourself.
Prefer to be fearless. They can cast their nets, I intend to give them some pause to consider on whether they should risk pulling that net up.
Stay smart and do what you can. I intend to be caught in their nets. I am law abiding and honest. I will not be separated from the law abiding and honest. If it's to the gulags with grandma and grandpa who didn't use a VPN, that's great. That's where I want to be.

I agree, tho I am a Grandpa and do have a VPN and other weapons of mass destruction in my arsenal. Some of the other weapons will ensure no gulag, maybe die right here when the door is kicked in but the Lovely Wife , Puppers and I ain't skeered.

When I scroll through "new" nothing they post shows up. Which is nice because they flood the board. If something they post gets stickied I see it if I click on "hot".
If they comment on something I post I do not get a notification but I can see it if I look through the comments.

As for me, I seek TRUTH.
And I find it often here. If MAGA were false, I would discard and move on.
But, I look beyond the politics for TRUTH.

Paying attention to the user name is a good way to identify patterns. Certain users keep pushing the same ideologies.
I will decide for myself who to listen to.
